Martin, look up my Nissan Leaf Acenta thread over in readers cars, I posted a photo of my 32A socket unit.
As for Chargemaster, try calling them. I also got no email, but when I rang they did have my application they just hadn't done anything with it
Thanks, will do.As for Chargemaster, try calling them. I also got no email, but when I rang they did have my application they just hadn't done anything with it
Chaps I called CM today asking when I would get a referral letter, chap said snowed under but re-apply now, I did this and got a referral email immediately, called EV arranged a fitting time for the enhanced unit (£99) and its going in 8am a week today - very quick but I get the impression you need to push.

Thanks very much indeed for this post. Having applied already last week, I've just done likewise and reapplied, received the email, and my sexy new charger is being installed on the 19th!I've gone for the standard one, because I'm very 'umble.
Well they called me back and said they might be able to fit this in on tuesday, but they need some info that I'm a little unclear on.
I'm installing in an underground car park, and they needed to know if the consumer unit has a trip switch, and how far it is from the space since they'll be a charge if its far. I spoke to a few people working here and apparently I need to get the managing agents permission for this, and I need to attach an electricity meter to it, so it doesn't look like I'll manage to make it happen any time soon.

Only just spotted this!
Right, so an EV might be on the cars for the mrs as her workplace car park has charging points now. But we don't know when we'll be changing or what to in the next 6 months.
However, we'd clearly like to take advantage of the scheme if possible. So what actually is the current position? If we apply now are we likely to get in on the outgoing scheme for a free one? Will we have to prove we have an EV or one on order?
And given we don't know what we might end up with which option is best?

Everything you have asked is in this thread, it probably would be quicker to read the thread than ask.
