First timer heading down with some Alfas, Citroen SM etc.

Been restoring this for 3 years in my spare time, hopefully it'll be finished in time:

Or this if it's not! :

As it's a Big Year for BMW I thought this might be suitable.

If the weather continues like today's storm - again - you'll be better off with 4WD Land Rovers, really you will. After the 24 Hours the camp sites are really churned up in places, as is the infield where we parked during the race. Keep hoping that the current local forecast holds good.
Makes me feel better about going in a Freelander!

First time for me too. Travelling down on the Thursday morning via Eurotunnel with a few others.

Taking the MGB my grand father handed down to me last year. He bought it new in 1970. It hadn't been driven for 10yrs so I've just completed a 3 month mechanical overhaul.

Either this

Or if it breaks down (like last year) then "old reliable" will go - this.

I'm probably going in this again, was one of the rarer cars there last time (went with Classic and Sportscar), my worthless SAAB 9000. Which is slightly less tidier now than it was then...

If not then something else, which I need to get working.

Going with 3 friends and travelling down Friday 11:30am Eurostar and back Monday - anyone welcome to join us on the drive down :-)
I'm Thursday morning unfortunately...on the Tunnel. Hopefully things will be better than the carnage it's sounded like over the last week around Calais!
