Last year we had all of our camping chairs stolen and my car keyed by some angry French men who didn't appreciate that we didn't want to drink with them.

Anybody camping in Beaujour and want to accommodate two ladies who would rather not be pestered by French men? Not a single person intervened last year when I was about to smack one of them and it all got a bit nasty, so we need some friendly faces around our camp!

Bloody stripes! I spent ages today putting the invasion stripes on my mundane transport. I tell myself I'm letting them go off before I put the roundels and the rest of the stuff on but I needed a rest!

I've just been to pick my stickers up from the post office, thanks Stickers4 for your quick delivery, the quality seems as good as ever too. The only things left to do now are; dig the tents and all the other camping bits out, pack our bags and decide which car we are taking... Not much then...

I also watched both Truth in 24 films last night, the excitement is definitely building!

Fixed my break caliper, well I say fixed, I disconnected the handbrake on one of them so no more binding. Full service kit arrived, new tires arrived, just waiting on thermostat kit and housing and I'm ready to rock and roll! And as a bonus, I emailed loads of companies associated with Le Mans to blah stickers and the guys at Michelin have sorted me right out! Just hope nobody spots my dodgy road trip part worms aren't Michelin! 12 days to go!

Glad to hear it's coming together. Still fondly remember taking my ZT190 down to Le Mans in the 2001-2.

Wow brand new! Thanks, I must admit, I'm getting more than a little excited but can't see it happening if you know what I mean, something usually goes wrong, 5 attempts to get my golf to run to the sun and only made it once, in a different golf!

Even brand new they had some "character". A piston went through the sump on the A14 when the ZT was 18 months old! Still miss it though.

I am really excited just finished stickering up the 57 MGA just need to fit a couple of new shockers and fuel tank sender unit.

Front disc brakes being fitted to the barndoor and engine out to sort some issues. Hope to be finished Saturday and apply some stickerage and the roofrack rain/sun shelter that was developed out of an old tarp in the back garden this weekend. Excitement builds

Oh my god!.... It's next Thursday I'm on the boat. The test day has made we realise just how close it is now.

Excitement is off the scale. New car cleaning stuff ordered for the 'big wash'.

Can't wait. We deserve a proper sunny one this year.

I can confirm to the PH Massive that the sun will be shineing all weekend.
By the end we will all be complaining that it was too hot and we all have sunburn!!!!!
