Ah, so that's what my missed delivery was today!

I'm going on my own this year, still decided that I'd rather stick around like-minded folks than take a punt with the great unwashed

There you go see look at that last picture, you can clearly see two beer tokens. I wonder if it's because we have two large pitches and you only get beer tokens if you're staying on a large pitch?

I seem to remember that last yr (our first at LM when we did the full glamping option with 1st Tickets) everyone on the catered package had a 'gratis' beer token to start things off. It was so good we're doing the same this yr including the lazy tent option

As for lone travellers, there were a few hardened types last year & everyone got on well both at meal times & throughout our stay...it also seemed strange watching other petrolheads taking pics through the fence into our campsite & also being on the inside of the fence strolling up to the facilities without queuing (& also finding generally that there was bog roll for you as well as air freshener ).

I've had to restrict the LM topic at home as Mrs C us mildly narked by it & also to pick who I chat to at work about it.....work seem to think I'm slightly mad (only 14 sleeps left till we head for the overnighter from Portsmouth to Caen on the Wednesday ) & l haven't even started my evening ritual of heading into the garage to pimp my ride appropriately after work (hopefully my final lot of graphics arrive tomorrow for a busy week or so of fiddling

See you all soon for a few drinks in the PH tavern in about 2 weeks time & remember we need to give some PH bloke a good send off

I think we got them because one of our party isn't having evening meals, so got offered these as a substitute

They're defo beer tokens alright.

Double checked my pack & no beer tokens, just 2 sets of meal vouchers. Hoping i've not missed out on something, especially free beer

Quick question, it makes reference to the bar being a 'cash bar' which i assume means no credit/debit cards? I tend to use one of those post office Euro cards when i'm on the continent so are there plenty of cash machines dotted around?

No not really, there are a few that are usually very busy, take an appropriate amount of cash would be my advice.

We are heading down in the Datsun, 7:30 something tunnel on Thursday. 4th time with 1st tickets. Going fully catered this time although we might stay in town on friday evening.

Really, really looking forward to it, hope to bump into a few of you there..

Got my tickets today. We're heading down in a Ford CMAX daddy wagon! Was going to take the Integra and another car but we decided to all squeeze into the CMAX.
We'll have to put a some pics up of the cars once stickered up so we know who's who.

Looking at his profile it's a Datsun GTR.

On a side note my first car was a Datsun Nissan Patrol. It was a car with a fantastic identity crisis that was right on the cusp of the Datsun to Nissan move and the car was badged both Datsun and Nissan.

we will be coming across on the Hull-Zebrugge crossing and will be in a Convoy of cars. There's a few of us going this year.

Are there personal radios you can buy to listen to radio Le Mans? Would I be better buying something before I leave.

I'm going to get some standard ear defenders tomorrow.
