This is me signing off, leaving the office to finish packing, and head down to Lancaster to pick up my brother. Heading down to Dover tomorrow, with a view to landing in Le Mans in time for the final practice sessions.

Car is packed (amazing what you can squeeze into an Elise's boot!), fuelled and cleaned. A few beers to finish the evening and then try to sleep before an obscenely early start tomorrow to catch the 8.45 Portsmouth to Caen ferry. Whoopee! First time there and can't wait!

My luggage is with my mates, the bike is fuelled amd I'm on the same ferry tomorrow morning.

A colleague is down there already and he's been sending me texts from the Stella bar to tease me - fekker!!

Just watched my dad and bro go off on the brittany ferry from portsmouth. i can see just over the tree's is were the boats just leave portsmouth harbour.. i can even usually hear the woman talkin if the winds in the right direction sayin stuff about wa time the bar closes etc. LOL
