Hello
Looking for some advice really. Due to the spread in age group (20 - 60) I think the camping option is out the window....So, we are looking for a hotel near enough so that we can walk down to the circuit and have a beer or two. Anyone got any suggestions? Also, where is the best place to get tickets, or is it simpler to do the whole lot as a package to include ferry? And now for the really dumb one....is it held on the full circuit or the Bugatti?
Thanks

Full circuit, it is quite excellent.
Hotel - No chance at all, end of!
The only option you will have is to join one of the organisers if they have space.
I am organising a group of 18 cars and the only hotel I could find (I did look seriously hard) is 30 miles out. Still a decent run in and out of the circuit everyday and our group does include some great cars

Seriously, I think you will be working very very hard to find something local yourself. Remember, there are over 1000 drivers alone, let alone team members, etc.

you arent looking closely enough, I booked three twin rooms for 3 nights (3roomsx3nights) for €270 all in.

Just in case any of you guys and gals are interested I have negotiated a discounted price for the Newhaven Dieppe ferry crossing for the classic next year for the cobra club.
Basically its going out on the 11pm sailing weds night and returning on the 2pm crossing monday, arriving le mans mid morning thurs and back in newhaven 5.30pm ish mon eve, respectively.
Total cost for car and 2 people is £64.00 rtn.
At this time there are 9 cobs and 2 daytona coupes registered for this crossing.
If anyone is interested let me know and I can give you the necessary contacts etc. But dont panic as you can't book until Jan when the new schedule is published.
I am making a block booking for the cobs and it will be best if you guys can do the same thing that way you can go in on the back of our deal, but it will have to be a block booking, and I'm maxed out with the cobs so not able to book yours as well , sorry.
