I was fisted by the biggest doctor you will ever see, with hands like a bunch of bananas!

P.S. If I can find how to post pictures, I will put some on.
Er, no thanks! wink

Sitting here eating a pizza, and a story of a compound fracture hurl seriously though, was shocked to hear of this accident when i was there, especially as it was my first year and we had walked up and down this stretch a fair few times during the week. glad you're ok and you have sorted a shiny new motor!

Might be worth posting similar on http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/

Also, someone mentioned Audi Pit Crew and Medics on the scene. It might be worth following up that lead for witnesses if you seriously wanted to take it further with the French authorities.

Fantastic, that really made me laugh. Hadn't realised I'd worded it quite like that!

yikes Glad to hear you're on the mend (both mentally and physically). From the other accounts it does sound very suspect and would be great to get the issue resolved.

Good to hear you're OK.

I remember reading about this on Pistonheads, it sticks in my mind because we were camping at Houx when it happened although I never saw anything.

Jebus! Glad to hear you are on the mend mate, really put a downer on the whole weekend to hear about the accident when we were packing up to go home. Hope to see you there in '09!

Glad to hear that you are on the mend there fella, and that your missus has let you get another "toy" too ... brave of her!!

I remember seeing you guys going "up" the road to Houx like a stabbed rat, but we were walking away and didn't see the actual "BANG" when it happened. By the time everyone had realised what had happened there was a hell of a lot of people at the scene helping you it seems!

I have flipped through my pictures, but i don't have anything of use for you!

Crying shame for the poor one that didn't make it though, RIP your Chessil cry

Crikey !! I thought I was a slowcoach taking nearly a year to find the original thread and respond with my comments. What kept you ? wink

Very glad to hear you're OK - the damage to yourself and the wallet are significant but compared with coming home to your family in a box... well, I know what I'd prefer...

Although I had my camera to hand I was reluctant to take pictures and be labelled a sicko, for the same reason we didn't hang around as there were plenty of other people around and didn't want to add to the crowd. I knew I should've taken copious pics for legal reasons.

Glad you are on the road to recoverythumbup

Were you camping at Karting Nord???
I remember seeing a red speedster replica (I thought it was a rep anyway) parked up under the trees by the karting circuit.
Looked nice frown

I can't think there would be too many red speedsters about.

according to the french law, where there are no signs, you give way to the right. But does this include drunk or un insured drivers? Was she driving? Was she pissed from the wedding? Its difficult to say. But if this is true, I've lost my health and a lot of money!

I would love to prove that I've been stitched up. I've turned down a big personal injury claim to protect my mate,
I don't understand this - why do you think you've been stitched up, and what do you mean by turning down the personal injury claim - oh, just realised, you mean by not claiming from your mate? The 13k you had to pay, you had to pay that to the french couple?

I didn't see anything despite being in Annex, but it was after the race and I had drunk a little bit smile

Glad you are on the mend. Remember the lost car, money, time of work, etc it's just gravy

one thing i could'nt figure out was were you coming from the annex roundabout and if you were how did the picasso pulling out of the campsite hit you on the passenger side

Then again, doesn't the driver paid the claim? - but then its your faulty vehicle he's helping you with? Jeez, doesn't it get complicated?

have i read right, you were the passenger? Were you belted in?
