The poor fella turned up at our campsite on Friday night, I think, already totally p*ssed. No idea who he was, except that he was Scandinavian (Danish, I think). Anyway, as the night goes on, he got even more pissed and eventually passed out on the ground. Someone suggested it might be amusing to shave the poor s*d's head a bit...

I know it was cruel, but damn it was funny! Credit to the man though, he was happy to pose for pics with Joe the next evening. Perhaps he didn't remember anything?

nothing like looking after your guests is there

With the people we have going this year, he better not make the same mistake in our kneck of the woods, it would be like Deliverance meets The Whicker Man meets the League of Gentlemen.

He would be praying for a swift end.........

My first thought was "oh no thats Des's dad!"
who travels down with us each year. When you said he spoke Danish, who cant after a few beers!

The last pic made me realise it wasnt though.
I think it was Des who couldnt actually find the door to his tent and was so pissed was at the side of it looking for a zip that wasnt there. Left him there looking for half an hour until I told him he wasnt at the front!

Some other lad joined us for an evening's fun 'n' drinking, but fell at the "big, hard yellow cock" hurdle.
Eventually we had to carry him back to his tent, where to the serious lack of amusement of his wife / girlfriend, he proceeded to vomit all over the inside of their tent.
Who says proper hospitality is dead?? We definitely "take care" of our guests.

You're the one with room for a tow rope so you had better take one for the rest of us.

Ultima only have room for a packet of crisps and a bottle of water.

You'll probably be the only convoy not to get split up though!

i wouldn't count on it... on the way down last year our convoy consisted of me and my brother... managed to loose him south of rouen and had to stop so he could catch up!!!

We're on that crossing and wouldn't mind tagging on, would an extra Chim be a problem? I can see its going to throw the symmetry of your convoy but its my first Le Mans and We'd appreciate some company on the run down
