mostly OK, found i was loosing water coming down the M6 on wednesday, so a dose of radweld and a top up cured it. the high ambient temps caused a few cooling worries, mostly when stationary at the paege but the return journey passed without incident as the air temperature dropped. so will probably need to have the radiator recored at next opportunity. not bad for a 57 year old car! arrived home lunch time tuesday.

Nice to meet you Ian and glad you made it back OK....

Ian, shame we didnt get to see each other again after our brief ride at Arnage on Friday. I thought you said you would be at the Champagne bar on Saturday at 11pm? I didnt see you.

Glad that you and the old girl got home OK. I really do miss my old MKVI, my heart skips a beat every time I see one. Lovely capable cars, not many cars of that era can tailgate the reps at 100mph on the motorway.

i was there, mingling sociably with the TWATS and the other collection of le mans kind, bit difficult to miss wearing a kilt and a rather natty sweat band, which i'm sure will be the fashion for next year!

was good to get a spin in the back of the turbo R, not too sure about the choice of music, a bit high brow for me, a northern heathen.
