Does anyone know what happened to the old shape E55 that was doing a burn out along the road between Maison Blanche and Bleu Sud on Friday at about 5pm?

It was easily the best burn out before Le Plod stopped it all. The issue was he/anyone hadn't seen the CRS van down the road. They pulled him over and were having a go when 2 minutes the later the smoke cloud engulfed them all...........

I think you're on about the my mates merc... it had Top Gun stlye Le Mans logo's on the side of it and both occupants were wearing Fighter pilot helmets!

We'd (clio 172 cup) managed to tear off down the road, pulled over and were admiring the tyre smoke from afar! That was when the Police turned up.

You'll be pleased to know all worked out well. Le Police asked for Passports etc of all occupants and made them sweat for about 5 mins but then sent them on their way with a slapped wrist and ''we've got your number, dont do it again''

Needless to say the driver refrained from performing anymore burnouts for the rest of the weekend (to our bitter disapointment), probably the best thing though.

He'll love the fact it's been mentioned on here, one of our troop has already let him know.

ps. any pictures/vids would be great, we were too far away and my mates in the focus had to hide the camera sharpish when the the police appeared.

In that case,

Good old Mark, and I am glad to know my old car is going well....Well my old car, which is also Mark's old car, before I sold it back to him.

This was one of the best burnouts of the weekend for me, up their with the E63 which went through a set of rears in reverse. If you want hi-res versions of these email motormorph@gmail.com. What happened to the lads in the Merc? Last thing I saw was him handing his passport over.

Haha, that shot of the massive number 11 with a cloud of smoke at the end is awesome!!

Cheers for posting them up, will email you for the high res shots. (the full story of events is in my 1st post above)

Anyone have anymore? Would be great to see them.

So'ton Ben - Mark (the driver) did say that someone had come and congratulated him whilst he was with the police!! - great stuff!

Well chuffed that he was OK. I was the guy on the microbike that spoke to him after he was stopped. He was looking sheepish and a touch nervous, so very pleased he got to enjoy the remainder of his weekend.

Awesome, awesome burnout!!
