You can cross near the Ford Chicane, 1/4 of the way up the pits, near the museum, Dunlop bridge and I think there's another tunnel just past there.
I "think" that's about it.
Shame they couldn't have some sort of Dunlop type bridge over the Mulsanne, as we're going to end up circumnavigating the entire track.

Thats not that easy there are several places ( the mulsanne being one of them) thatyou cant get to. you can get into one or to point on the mulsane but its a long way ( i.e. you need a car) basically there is a road that runs parallel to the mulsane about a mile further over

There is a crossing under the straight.
Go under the circuit by the blue parking cross roads.
Turn left, go past karts carry straight on over 3 roundabounts, though camp sites, road twist and turns for 1.5 miles. Road then goes under circuit.
If you want the resturant, carry on you will join a main road, after 1/2 mile turn right at a wooden hut, follow road, there is a barrer ( you are by the Mulsanne Straight ) bear right, follow road you will come the rear of the Cafes ( there is camping / parking there)

I could be wrong but I think you are describing the road under Tetre Rouge by the Stella bar which is just before the straight. There is no way of crossing the actual straigh itself.
Absolutely spot on, this is the only way of getting on under the Mulsanne..
Also the description of how to find the Cafe Des Hunadierres, is wrong. These direction will take you the wrong way down a temporary one way street. The turning is a little way before this turning right, the road will lead to the Mulsanne, you then turn left, all the way to the end of that road, turn right and right again into field. CAfe is at the far end of this field. I also believe camping has now been stopped here, but not sure.
Ah the french directions, we love 'em. At least now there are sign posts 6 - 7 years ago it was a nightmare to remember how to get every where.

Okay, so excluding getting lost (likely), how long does it take to stumble to the cafe from Tetre Rouge ?
Driving around during the race isn't anywhere near as difficult as Autosport etc make out. You can drive from the ACO entrance to the town or Arnarge, Indianapolis/Arnarge corners, the Mulsane Corner, Porsche Curves, the cafe etc all without too much difficulty.
The only places that are too much of a pain to bother are to the North of the circuit, around the camp sites inside the track. And getting a bit lost and finding your way around are all part of the fun!
I know drinking's a big part of LM for a lot of people, but there's a lot worth driving around for too. Personally, I don't think I even have a pint when the race is actually on. The Friday and Sunday evenings are a different matter though...
