cost of fuel?

Can anyone remember how much petrol is per litre in France? I wanted to work out my mpg. I have all my receipts but unlike the UK they don’t say how many litres you bought. I was buying 98 all the time.

1.14 from local super u did get ripped off 1.27 on way down

Ranged between 76 and 84 pence per litre from what I wrote down over the 6 french stops I did. So if you average 80 pence should be about right

Mine was 996 miles with £263 spent !

you should have gone vi Guensey - 52pence per ltre! Almost worth moving there - (no good roads though!)

Was that you that we followed for a while on the way down on Thursday afternoon / evening. We were in the grey TVR Chimaera with stipes and numbers on it, you passed us a couple of times and visa-versa.

Could well have been us Paul, we hit Dover about 5-ish, made the 6.45 to Boulogne and then on pretty much nailed it along the usual Abbeville/Rouen route. Saw quite a few well stickered TVR's en-route - I must make an effort to get us some for next year!
