Technically I'm on it but thinking about changing to Weds night instead.
Anyway.

The speed ferries is to Boulogne right???

How does the mileage from Boulogne - La Sarthe compare with the drive from Calais??

Slightly shorter.

I'm on the 11:15, supercharged MX5. Got no tickets, plan to camp in Arnage/Indianapolis car park, only going to buy entry tickets for that enclosure. I'm curious to see how cheap I can do it.

I'm on the 11:15 as well but thinking about swapping on this 7.45 one. Camping in Houx Annexe and a bit worried about missing out on a decent pitch there if I get in too late on the Thursday - don't fancy being wedged in next some toilets or some such if it can be helped. Anyone else arrived late afternoon on the Thursday for Annexe and struggled or should I be alright?

7.45 still selling so can proabably swap but means quite an early start and wanted to try and get one last nights good sleep if possible before the madness.

Decisions Decisions .......

I've just been speaking to the Marketing Director at SpeedFerries, having moved one of our group onto this crossing and he's told me it is almost full now, so if you want to get on it - book soon.

Went over on the 0745 Thursday crossing in 2005 and Houx/Houx Annexe were very busy by the time we got there. With this in mind, my convoy is going over on the 0745 Wednesday crossing - Hopefully we wont be the only Le Mans'ers on the boat...

Thanks Tripps, reminded me to have another go at changing it. Had tried a couple of times the other day but quite hard to get through on the blower and got put on the back burner.

Anyway big news relevant to all on here is that they have just today amended their timetables and the 0745 is now 0700 sailing so even less bloomin sleep!!!! Nearly stayed on my original booking which was for the 1115 as that is now 1040 but gone with the early one after all to give us more time to play with at the other end, first LM for me so probably won't be sleeping much the night before anyway.

Thanks Dave, looks like I have done the right thing then switching to the earliest I can on the Thursday. Wednesday not an option for me or my passenger, quite thankful about this in a way as would have just been another option to have to mull over and I have never been good at decision making.

Just confirmed our booking on the 07.00 Speed Ferry for Thursday morning . Will be staying in the Travel Lodge at Dunkirk on the A2 on Wednesday night. Anybody else thinking of staying there?

BTW I'll be in the Spectrflair Tuscan 2.

We are Le Mans virgins so please be gentle with us

Did Wednesday early in 2004 on the SeaCat and our group were the only obvious Le Manners there, so there wasn't just exotica to play with. But, on the flip side, there were no police around either and we mad the trip very quickly even though we took the scenic route.

How about changing the thread title to 07:00 hours or putting it in brackets or something as the time has been changed from 07:45.
