Satellite reception in Bleu Sud?
Discussion
Does anyone have experience of setting up satellite tv in Bleu Sud? We attempted it in Maison Blanche for the first time last year but our plot was directly behind the clump of trees towards the south of the campsite and we had no luck whatsoever.
This is our first time in Bleu Sud, and my vague memory is that it appears quite tree-ey, but the photos on Beermountain look relatively clear.
Cheers

I cant comment about that specific site, but from experience, getting a satellite dish to work if there is a tree in the way is extremely difficult. I recently setup a dish on a caravan site and despite most of the free channels working ok, I couldnt get a sweet spot for Motors TV which was clearly due to a great big tree in my way !
I would say that if you intend to use a dish, let the dish direction dictate where you camp to some extent, or take a long coax with you in the hope that you can borrow a feed from a neighbour with a better position...

Another similar thread suggested that the race wasn't shown for Free on french terrestrial TV. Does anybody know different?
Also Motors TV carry the WEC, but not the Le Mans event, that is Eurosport only, sadly.
We stayed at a friend's house in Le Mans last year. They had the race on their TV. It was on Eurosport. Also Motors TV carry the WEC, but not the Le Mans event, that is Eurosport only, sadly.
