Hoping to go as we couldn't make it to Le Mans this year, but nothing actually booked yet due to our incompetence. It's been surprisingly hard to find somewhere to stay; there seems to be very little information online.
Therefore, we're winging the whole thing so I can't make any recommendations.

I'm going. We stayed at Camping Eau Rouge last year and that was great. Close enough to walk to the track, nice friendly dutch owners, was just really pleasant and decently priced. 100% recommend it.
We are a bigger group this year so we are staying in a rented house.
How long to walk from Eau Rouge camping to the circuit? We are a bigger group this year so we are staying in a rented house.
Looks like I'm heading to Spa D'or, haven't heard back from Eau Rouge.
Found this site very useful: http://www.eurocampings.co.uk the ability to search on a map cannot be beaten.

Another question, Belgian motorways, tolls?
Free and most of the time when in BE, I wonder why I'm not charging them. IMHO BE has some of the worst roads in the EU ( Brussel's tunnels aside ).There's a cracker of a bumpy road between BE and DE. I had to stop for a rest, it was like a concrete washboard.
Got back last night. It was really hard to find any information before we went so I'll post a bit when I get chance for people thinking of going next year.
In short, it was my first trip to Spa and it lived up to very high expectations. Magnificent track and location, great atmosphere and it seemed a good race but the lack of coverage meant we had almost no idea what was going on most of the time.

I found this to be the same as at the Nurburgring 24Hr that we attended this year. Great event but with no Radio Le Mans being broadcast on a FM signal it's hard to keep up. At times it can almost seem like a track day and I think in future an internet connection will be used to stream the race cove erage from Radio Le Mans.
I'll pencil Spa 24Hr into the calendar as they have already released the dates. Was it easy to get round the circuit? Or is it similar to Le Mans and Nurburgring where you can't see the entire circuit due to size?

Its only 4KMs in length, so its a nice walk and you get to see nearly all of it.I'll pencil Spa 24Hr into the calendar as they have already released the dates. Was it easy to get round the circuit? Or is it similar to Le Mans and Nurburgring where you can't see the entire circuit due to size?
