That's it. I'm doing 6,000 miles per annum rather than the 10,000 miles pa on the lease.
Hi JQ,Did they give you the new monthlies over the phone? I've just called them up to see if I can reduce as my situation is similar to yours but they've said a) That I cannot reduce the annual mileage, instead they will provide a quote for 20k over three years and b) they will not remove maintenance and tyres. I also have to wait 5-7 days for a formal quotation to come through from their contracts team.
Was considering extending as there's nothing really out there within my budget that appeals at the moment, have been offered a fantastic deal on a Scirocco R-Line but not quite the same I feel.
Just seen this from Central UK Vehicle leasing via email:
AUDI A7 Sportback 3.0TDi SE Executive 4dr S Tronic AUTO
2 year lease
Initial rental £3600 (inc VAT) followed by 23 payments of £257.99 (inc VAT)
Doc fee is £180(inc VAT)
If I have worked it out correctly the inclusive monthly cost equates to £404.74.
Not sure if that's a good deal or not?
The SLINE version is £296.39(inc VAT) per month.

We agreed a final total mileage and then they sent me a quote through the post which did take over 7 working days. They wouldn't quote over the phone. I don't have maintenance and tyres so can't comment on that.Did they give you the new monthlies over the phone? Just been offered a C63 AMG in stock/new for £600 pm, 9 +24. Same for a Audi S7 in stock also.
32 x 600 = £19200 (it will be 9+23 not 9+24)Audi S7 list price £64,365, after discount £47,617. So 19200 is 40% of discounted price or 29% of list price. Not sure if anyone is paying list price. Discount will be included in depreciation too. Don't think it's a good deal. Last year it could be had for £12250 total, 10K miles, at the same time when S8 was on promotion.
Mercedes can be had with up to 10% discount, so it's probably better value deal. 35% of discounted price or 32% list price, that's for saloon. Coupe is more expensive and there are hardly any discounts on it.
I wouldn't go for any of the above unless I really wanted Mercedes. Then I would see if there are any better deals available.
Following companies have C63 saloon on 9+23 x £574 (£18400):
Freedom (in stock), Gateway to Lease, Target Leasing, Fleetprices, Pantheon.

If that includes VAT, that's a pretty good deal That's advertised prices so maybe room to negotiate a bit and that's the basic model. Go for a C63S premium spec and it's nearer a grand a month which is daft.
And agree, they were cheaper a while back, I'd want nearer £500/m 9+23, factory order, to go for one.

BMW M240i Coupe Auto
10k miles
Maintained
3x23
£1,300 initial
£420 per month inc VAT
17p excess
A bit more expensive than the Leon, R, S3 but impressive nontheless.
Direct from BMW - I used Sunningdale.
I just cant see that being worth almost £11k over 2 years?BMW M240i Coupe Auto

You would be better financing a nearly new M3 or M4 probably cost you the same in servicing/depreciation and interest

I know we arent supposed to compare buying 2nd hand to lease but still know what I would rather... Didnt think the 240i was all that when I drove it. Comparable to my Golf R and old 335i N55 Coupe. Which both cost considerably less over 2 years.

Just had my Golf R Collected (had for 2 years)
Charges were £110 in total as the finance company was network Q all total damage costs below 150 get waived.
Also just for info guys - one wheel was badly damaged a refurb was 130 (diamond Cut) finance company only charge £60. Also one dint on the door which came to no charge.
Its cheaper to get charged then fixing these repairs yourself.
hope this helps
Thanks

Network Q as in Vauxhall, or Network (Leaseplan)? Mrs car is with the latter and going back in a few months, it would be great to find out their charges are reasonable!Charges were £110 in total as the finance company was network Q all total damage costs below 150 get waived.

Something like 30% of an easily obtainable OTR price (IIRC) makes it a not great deal. You would be better financing a nearly new M3 or M4 probably cost you the same in servicing/depreciation and interest
