In all honesty most of the good spec stock cars went 2 weeks ago.
Where they advertised somewhere or is it just a chance thing that people stumble across them?
A bit of both really. Typically brokers advertise the lowest price cars they have but often they have access to better spec cars. II called a few brokers to give them an idea of the spec I was looking for and they advised when the new stock lists were issued by MB. Once stock lists were issued a few of the brokers sent me the list to show what was available and at what price. I found it useful letting the brokers know what I was looking for and giving them a call every few days.

Just had my Golf R Collected (had for 2 years)

Charges were £110 in total as the finance company was network Q all total damage costs below 150 get waived.

Also just for info guys - one wheel was badly damaged a refurb was 130 (diamond Cut) finance company only charge £60. Also one dint on the door which came to no charge.

Its cheaper to get charged then fixing these repairs yourself.

hope this helps

Thanks
Good info mate.

So what car have you replaced the R with?

That's interesting, thanks - I've had trouble getting brokers to respond on the 'phone and I soon realised emailing them is hopeless.

Who are the good guys in that respect?

The one I was offered was 9+23 £630 inc and was premium pack and carbon fibre trim so not too bad on spec. I havent seen anything cheaper for this spec and the S version (which I would rather) is a couple of hundred more as far as I can tell. I am seriously considering this deal!

Just been offered a C63 AMG in stock/new for £600 pm, 9 +24
If that includes VAT, that's a pretty good deal biggrin
There's lots of places offering C63 saloon for under £600 inc vat on 9+23 even on factory orders. For an in-stock car costing them daily with you'd want much better than £600.

That's advertised prices so maybe room to negotiate a bit and that's the basic model. Go for a C63S premium spec and it's nearer a grand a month which is daft.

And agree, they were cheaper a while back, I'd want nearer £500/m 9+23, factory order, to go for one.

All of the c63 offers are on pre-registered cars with factory orders significantly more expensive with longer than typical lead times. The offers at £575 per month are for the base model with no options. It's worth keeping an eye out for stock cars with the premium pack which have been available for around £599 per month. In all honesty most of the good spec stock cars went 2 weeks ago. A few new c63 coupes were available but were snapped up within a few hours for approx £630 per month with premium pack and 19" alloys

I personally found that pantheon leasing were really helpful in letting me know what was available. A few others on the thread have also used them with good results. I also found that freedom and fleet prices were good as well.I'm sure you could speak with others who would be good but my own experience worked best with these three.

Hi, I remember some reaaaly good Citroen Cactus C4 deals but can't seem to find them. The old man likes the cactus and found this deal direct from Citroen:

C4 Cactus 1.2 Flair Manual
5000 Miles PA
18 month contract
3+17 - £118PM
Excess miles 7.50ppm

Total = £2360

Seems to be an OK deal, best I can see (G2L) is £190+Vat for the same car over 24 months. He will want an automatic which will push the price up a bit....

Any opinions?

Sounds good. Is that the 82 or 110PS model. I hear the automated manual is awful though ...

Just been offered a B250e for £221 per month with 6 months deposit, works out at about £7k over 2 years for a £30k car so not too bad.

Timing not quite right for me and too close to i3 money which is what I would rather have

Agreed, I'm looking for one of these so phoned them as soon as I read the initial post you responded to

6*23 on a Touring is 370 something a month for 8k miles

There must have been a typo somewhere along the way......

There seems to be a significant uplift in personal prices, it isn't just the +vat price on a lot of the really good BMW deals unfortunately.

I have a friend who was looking to pull the pin on the G2L deal on an A6 Avant 2.0TDI 190ps S Line Ultra S tronic at £275.99 inc vat, 9+23.

They can't get them, I guess a bait and switch tactic. Guildford Audi can't get close.

Any others worth trying?

Cheers.

Try Steve Jalif at Wimbledon Audi. Just picked up my Audi A4 1.4 TFSI where he matched the £119.99 per month deal from CVL

Has he driven one yet? The petrol engines are abysmal.

No, but he's 82 and going from a Nissan Micra and an S-reg Honda Civic Aerodeck to this.

It will be more than fine for him!
