Hi Chaps,

Can anyone better the below deal on personal lease:

2016 Discover Sport HSE (At)

Period: 24 months
Annual Mileage: 8k
Initial payment: £3,213.56 (inc of VAT etc)
Monthly: £496.64 (inc VAT)
https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-companies/independent-brokers/all-vehicle-contracts/land-rover/discovery-sport/80879710/
£2802.72 initial, inc. fees and VAT
£428.12 per month inc. VAT
Thanks mate however that is the 'SE' (entry level) rather than the 'HSE'

Will try the website though.

Do you need the 7 seats? If not Fast Bug can likely get you a GLC Merc for better money than that.

AVC do it for £491 on those same terms. Not a huge saving!

Yeah, I've been quoted cheaper on an entry level Disco too but the running costs on both are pretty ruinous compared to the Disco Sport and the missus wants a smaller 4x4.

That sounds expensive for a tarted up freelander.
Nearly in Range Rover Sport territory there.

What running costs? Fuel economy is pretty similar. You'll need one service, if that, and tyres shouldn't need changing over 16k miles... Any difference in "running costs" will be negligible compared to the lease cost.

The fuel eco on the new Landrover Ingenium engine is pretty good compared to the Audi lump....I'd say at least a 10mpg difference.

A friend who owned an Q7 said it was lovely but very expensive to run.

Has anybody seen or got a decent deal on a VW Polo GTI or similar recently?

No.

It's based on an Evoque and the price for a RR Sport is massively more than that.

6+23 deals from about £155 for a 3dr manual, just signed up for a 5dr DSG with a few options, maintained, for £200, see post a few pages back.

Polo GTi £181 inc VAT a month on a 3+23 deal 15k miles a year. Bargain.

If they are still at this price later this year I'm definitley in the market to get one.

And the Evoque is based on the same platform as the Freelander 2.
Sure I've seen a Sport for around £600 in the last few weeks so not what I'd class as massively more.

That seems like a pretty nice deal. I had the old normal polo and it was a great little car. GTI must be pretty fun!

If you can find me a RR Sport for similar money to a Discovery Sport over the two year deal I'll take it.

Yes Lease have got some tempting Polo GTI prices.

I've been looking at 15k on a 3+23 personal lease, which works out at £4998 all-in, or £208 pcm.

Those prices are including VAT.
