Hey Burty, was it a lease? If so are they asking for the balance of the payments? That's a real bummer have BOTH cars taken in the same event. God I hate thieves.
Yes both leases, Golf R Est as well, 3 months and 4 months oldYes they are asking for full settlement i.e. gap, glad I took it out

Already looking for a replacement for the stolen Touareg - see gassing station
My wife wants a small hatch and I want something that isn't totally bland
Need to keep costs down due to recent thefts so was looking at the Polo GTI
Anyone seen a better deal than this, needs to be in stock or short lead time;

Well that's me changed my S5 from a Coupe to a Sportback. Black, virtual cockpit and flat bottom steering wheel
Perhaps we should all have a meet to compare our identical cars in the new year.
Did you change because of a better deal then? I think i'm going for the coupe, just had the quote through now...Perhaps we should all have a meet to compare our identical cars in the new year.
Is anyone pushing the boat out and taking the metallic as an option?

Me. I've ordered Navarra blue.
Oh yeh with the red seats that someone disapproved of! Haha yeh I remember reading that... I just read that the solid black is an arse to clean, shows up scratches and what not... but the metallic bumps it up a fair bit, gonna go for the black I think. PorkInsider said:

Metallic normally one of the few "low cost" options on a lease as it does add to the residual. Always worth getting it quoted. I had one car where the addition of metallic actually REDUCED the monthly cost.

If you are going blue with the red interior, make sure you see it in the flesh first. It is quite a contrast.
Thanks. I think I'm going to stick with it though. I liked the pics on the Audi website with that combo but appreciate that's not the same as seeing it in the flesh.I've currently got a metallic grey 3-series with pimp red interior and I'm quite happy with that, so I think I'll be ok with this too.
