Still looking for a decent "executive" automatic deal. Only need 8-10k miles.

520d Msport seems the best at the moment - Alphabet deal is 23+9 on business terms for £207/month (+VAT)

Haven't seen anything good for new E class yet (don't like shape of old one).

A6 Stronic's are around £215/month 9+23 (+VAT) for Sline

Anyone seen anything else I should consider?
A few pages back I posted a deal for the A6 black edition which was £240 inc VAT.

The wife if fancying a merc A class on lease, she does about 8000 miles a year, certainly no more than 10000. Any hints on the best places to look?

Would be a personal lease, no business to link it to.
This one any good? (quite a nice spec) http://www.mad-sheep.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/mer...

Oh, I thought it was an auto. Well, maybe I just expected it to be an auto.

Leasing options have just sent an email through for an Infinity Q50 diesel 2.2CDi Executive Diesel. £189.99+VAT - not sure if that is big enough for ya?

Thanks for the GTD link folks, I've already contacted Nationwide Vehicle Contracts and spoken to someone. Even though the car is stock, not possible to deliver until Mid May unless we see them in person in Manchester, which isn't possible as we're out the country next week too.

I was also applying for the car in my name but my wife the main driver, but it has to be in her name which isn't an option until her mortgage application is approved. The hunt may have to start again..

Going to try a different VW showroom to the one I saw on Saturday, the salesperson wasn't great to deal with..
Does anyone know if VW match lease deals that isn't a Golf R?
Personally i'd avoid Nationwide Vehicle Contracts. Nothing but hassle from them with all my inquiries and my current order for my Audi A4 so far.

First time leasing with them; previous was Lings which, despite the absolutely atrocious website layout, had nothing but great service and lots of updates without need to chase and a very smooth process.

Had a few orders with Nationwide that got cancelled. 2 orders with a Golf GTI. One where the price suddenly jumped up £30-40 from their quoted website price when i was filling in the order form without actually telling me.

Second Golf GTI order where all of a sudden there was demand for a 1k deposit up front on top of the 3 month initial rental to confirm a build slot and couldn't be done without this (which wasn't suitable for me).

Now with the A4 order (currently going through and awaiting to arrive at the dealers next week at some point) they received my finance documents all okay and un-tampered but somehow my actual card license (required by Audi) wasn't with the documents when it was 100% sent with the forms.

I'm hoping others haven't had similar issues, or any other for that matter, but just i'm just adding my recent experiences with them. I wouldn't deal with them again put it that way. If the deal wasn't so good i'd potentially just cancel it and go elsewhere.

Maybe it'll be different in the flesh but the new and old E class look pretty similar to be. Following the Audi school of evolution I think!

Thanks for the input guys.

Re new E class, externally it addresses the area I really didn't like on the old one - the arse! Inside its a step up which is also a good thing.

Re the A6 deals they're pretty good, esp for Black edition equipment.

Re the Infiiniti its a good price, but not convinced about them as a car.

4 series G/C might be an option but offers seem to only be on the 20i.

Really? I think the new E is the most radical single model revamp we have seen from the German companies in a very long time.

I recently took delivery of a 430d GC from CVL. Main reason over the E/C Class were sleeker, sportier looks and handling, and great balance of performance and economy. E/C class felt a bit mature, especially the E. I'm 33 and see a lot of younger guys driving them and don't think they actually suite - my opinion of course.
Jag XE/XF are also worth a look too. Prefer them over the Germans in many ways but tough to find competitive deals. The 430d is a GT cruiser and puts a smile on my face daily

£199+VAT 9+23 10K miles - no idea what the excess or admin fee is though

MB don't have a vehicle to compete with the 4 GC. Although I'm sure that's a niche model they're working on now!

New E Class is massively different to the old E Class in every way. It should appeal to younger drivers as well. The new engine is a peach, and the car actually goes round corners pretty well now! It's a shame that we're not getting the E200 petrol as well, as it drives really well. The interior is great as well, quality is superb. I really like it smile

I think this is the cheapest Scirocco we've seen for a while:

2.0TSi BlueMotion Tech 180ps GT
24 months at £101.99 inc VAT plus £2400 deposit, 5k miles

From Solent Vehicle Leasing

£4,745.77 all in for two years
My brother has been in to his local VW today and had this deal matched sans admin fee.

Flippin' bargain IMO.

Quick question, which I'm almost certain has been asked 10000x but has left me going round in circles on Google:

When sorting out insurance for a lease, I know I'm not the registered owner but am I the registered keeper? Or does this differ from company to company? My lease is with Rivervale if that makes a difference.

I'm waiting to hear back from Rivervale because I can't find a definitive answer anywhere.

Not in my experience. You won't get or be listed on the V5c. Shouldn't make any real difference to your premium however, given how popular personal leasing is these days.

You are not the owner or the registered keeper. car remains the property of the lease company. As mentioned above it didn't make any difference to my premium the fact that it was a lease car and i am insured by a high street insurer, tesco.
