Best lease car deals available?

Or about 12+23 if you include the admin fee. No mention of excess mileage charge - who gets an A6 diesel to do just 5k miles per year?
I would, but not at that price. I do about 8k a year, need a big boot for various reasons and the A6 Avant/E class meet the requirements. Diesel because the petrol residuals still seem poor and so the lease deals poorer than diesel?I don't mind what the deposit amount is, I am working it based on total cost over 24 months. I find it separates out the headline deals easily.
I am actually tempted by a PCP deal on a new Merc C250 AMG Premium estate. 1500 dep, 36 months 420pm, 15k mpa. The final payment is high (18.5k), so there is no way I'll keep it after 3 years.

Agreed, but with one massive exception.
I'd been put off the cheap C-Class SE deals because of the awful 16" multi-spoke wheels, but 17" five-spokes are actually a no-cost option on the MB configurator.
I'd already said that above! I'd been put off the cheap C-Class SE deals because of the awful 16" multi-spoke wheels, but 17" five-spokes are actually a no-cost option on the MB configurator.

Let us know if it is correct - I had a look at the configurator (?) on the Merc site and it looks a really nice interior despite "only" being an SE - there is a Free of charge 17" alloy option over the standard 16" versions which IMO look nicer - non Metallic our only option is White or Black - on the website IMO it looks better in Black.
Sat nav is a £995 option as part of a package with heated leather etc - deividing that over the term would add £42 so not sure if worth it, but if it is the same as my colleague's SLK, you can buy the Sat nav module for £300 and it just plugs in the glove box socket - the spec does say it is nav ready.[quote]
It is a tempting deal - I still fancy an Octavia Scout though, and that comes with Sat Nav despite being dirt cheap.

Is this a common assumption to make? I ask as I am in a similar position. Maybe 8k mpa. Enjoy the torque of diesel, but sound of petrol. After residuals, pump price, DPF and a short 6 mile daily commute are taken into consideration, is diesel still the best bet in a 2 or 3 year lease environment?Surfr said:

If you can find me good petrol deals then I'm there...Surfr said:

dpf will be fine on a 2 or 3 year lease... surely to godcharltjr said:
Good deals on the merc c class C200 petrols at the moment, 185bhp turbo so not slow and plenty of torque.
Mine was delivered last week. The auto is great with the petrol and performance is adequate. Quite diesel like delivery due to the turbo, but doesn't sound like one. Very refined at low revs and a nice noise above 5k rpm.42mpg according to the obc too, only done 800 miles so far though, so that will improve.

got a really good price on a c200 sport estate via carlow the other day and i am tempted, very tempted.
I had a C200 petrol manual the other week as a hire car and it did 38mpg no problem. It was very refined and certainly for a low mileage user it would be a much better alternative than a Merc diesel.
I am getting my C250 on Monday and am secretly worried that I may have made the wrong choice as the petrol is super quiet, smooth and torquey. The only redeeming feature of mine is that as an auto it is far more suited to this type of car as a motorway muncher.

I probably do about 12000-13000 miles a year now with a 24 mile each way commute. Petrol or diesel? The petrol is even a good bit cheaper than the low power diesel.I am getting my C250 on Monday and am secretly worried that I may have made the wrong choice as the petrol is super quiet, smooth and torquey.
