A6 Black Edition Utra Avant on Carwow came back at 15.9% discount cash and 23.7% (!) discount on finance. Since I placed my order I've been on the lookout for 16 plate examples and don't think I've seen one, whereas E220D's and 520D's are everywhere. It is possible that there may well be more to come on the A6 as it enters the last couple of years of production.
I think they're all in Birmingham - barely see any 16 plate E-classes, and not that many 5-series compared to A6s. Mainly S-line or Black Edition saloons.

Can you post the BMW deal? Also you are likely to want the 19" wheels and the upgraded Nav both ramping up the monthly cost. I was looking at 335d but have gone with another Golf R for 260 a month DSG
It's was on Rivervale leasing and the offer has gone but if you go on cars2buy.com, youll find many deals similar!

The one I have is a standard m-sport, doesnt come with the 19 inch wheels or professional media package but the standard nav is good enough to me!

Before I decided on a diesel, I was after either a Golf R or bmw M135i but diesel made more sense to me!

Might be useful for someone - cheapest I've seen a Kia Sportage for albeit it's the base 1.6 GDi 1.

One of these days I'm going to stop seeing good lease deals and actually buy one.

3 + 23 £149.48 inc vat for 5k.

Just had the quote on the Golf R 5 door DSG with select.

8k
23 x £308.99

Does anyone know the finance company? The lady wouldn't tell me because I might get a better deal from them?!?

I'm umming and arrrhing between s3 and golf r and whether paying £300 a month for either would be worth biting the bullet. I'm edging towards the R for the simple reason you get more for the price..... Any thoughts .????

You will be waiting another 3 or 4 months for the facelift S3. Doubt you will get it as cheap as the R either.

The lady was adamant that it wasn't VWFS and the excess mileage was 10-14ppm.

That's near £8k for a 120bhp small family car. Lots of cheaper cars available, or better cars for the same money.

Think we've all been a bit spoiled by the Golf R. Guess that's the downside of getting a really good deal - that you'll need to one day move on and you can't always move on up!

I think you've hit the nail on the head! I don't want to commit to anything just incase another ridiculous deal appears! I check my email and this forum about 10 times a day! When I got my car for £297pm (DSG, Lapiz and maintainence) I was over the moon! However now, I'm pondering whether to get another R with more miles for less money!!!

Possibly this isn't rocket science advice i am about to give, but perhaps the reason you're finding it tough to choose is because you don't want any of the choices open to you today. Buy a stop-gap used car and wait it out until the right deal comes along. I've done that 3 times, and yes you'll be driving a significantly lesser car, but because it's only short term (in theory!) it isn't that bad. It also means you can act upon any really good deal that comes up pretty much immediately, and if you buy and sell wisely and it might not even cost you a penny, net.

Totally agree guys. i paid 1798 and 207 a month for a 5dr manual just with met paint no other extras. i passed finance on a Golf R this morning and cancelled a few hours later. just could go through with the current prices in the end. Spoiled indeed!
The revised S3 and pending 140im might prompt another deal in a few months if were lucky

^^^ Some good advice there! Always better to be flexible and ready to jump when the right deal arrives.

Interesting idea, out of curiosity what 3 cars did you go for and what price range ?

Did you lose much money or have much hassle when the time came to sell them on ?

Thanks
