Some stuff does not add up. Like at the beginning of his essay he says it has been his car for a couple of years but 'Mr P' owned it and then it was registered in his wife's name and has 2 owners. That would be 3. Maybe he would say that there are 3 on the log book but as Mrs P didn't have to pay for it she does not count as an owner. So confusing!

Sometimes sacrifices have to be made.

They already seem to be fans of leather upholstery, show them that you REALLY care and let them ride on the back seats of your new W140 S Class wink

I love the phone mount, as expected it matches the contours and materials of the interior perfectly.

When I was shopping for a phone mount for my LS460 one company (Kuda perhaps?) made one that integrated to the dash a bit higher up than that, which matched the factory interior but only for LHD.

Doesn't everyone detail the inside of their petrol flap?

One would hope so, there's not much love here for a mucky flap.

The problem comes when the pictures are all of tiny little clean bits of the car which don't matter at all and virtually no zoomed out pictures of the car. Usually these types of ads are interspersed with pictures of details of AA warranty etc.

QB.
Springers ? They look lovely, we have a typically batty cocker.
First time dog owners, bit like thread ownership - high maintenance and always ongoing.

Working Cockup on the left, Lab/collie cross on the right. Cockers and Springers are both mad, but great fun. And any variety of labrador is a joy.

A good estate car with manufacturer's proper fitted dog guard is the answer to your automotive prayers. We use a Saab 9-5 estate for dog duties, which has manufacturer installed fixing points for said dog guard.
Spaniels squeeze round a cheapo generic EBay dog guard and are on the driver's seat, wet and muddy and grining at you, when you return from just popping into a shop for 5 minutes on the way home from a woodland walk. No need to ask me how I know banghead

You might enjoy this thread, though it can be sad as well as joyful:

Thanks for the tips. Travel crate swaps betw cars and mine goes back soon, so Mrs S’ vehicle will be used for dog duties - I get no choice there :]

Does look nice this and the price seems entirely reasonable these days.

What is the device fitted to right side of the upper centre console??

Contrast with this ‘project’ for which the seller is looking for thread max…

I do have something of an unhealthy want to fully clean and detail it though.

Record it and you'd probably make your money back from YT revenue...

Interesting choice of tyres. Aside from the whole filthy thing, if it has been used/kept up with tyre pressures etc why wouldn't you spend a few hundred quid on a good valet and MOT?
