Where did you get that VehicleSavers list from?
I got the same list from another broker at the end of last week. It's a list of cancelled orders sat in a couple of dealerships.
I got it emailed to me from VehicleSavers. If you want pricing you have to ask for a quote on each one. They also have some R Estates.

Simple.

Your cost is 17940 for 3 years.

The horrendously expensive lease above is 13722 for 2 years.

Shop around for some lease prices at about 25% of RRP, which would be about 8kish for 2 years on a 30k or so.
Hmm, ok thanks.

The best deal I can find when actually speaking to someone rather than looking at online number is this:

£2749.50 initial payment
9x23
£305.50 per month
Total £9776

That is for a Lapiz blue with sunroof so both those items push the price up a bit

And that is a 5 door manual 310hp (facelift)? If so it looks like you are at just over £8k when you take the sunroof and paint off (£1625, I presume its the £995 panoramic sunroof as I can't see another specced?).

If so I think its probably the best I have seen on a new model

Well, it's orders of magnitude better than your ridiculous lease quote! smile

I get that.
But plenty of better cars, Astra Elite posted above for ex smile not really much more considering the kit and space
Not to mention if the OP is doing 100 miles a day an Astra or similar should be more comfortable at the speeds such a commute will require.
Isn't the Astra deal for 5000 miles per annum? If this guy is doing 100 miles a day, he'll use that allowance up in a couple of months

Ah ok, still a good deal with the DSG though I reckon, as I think they count that as around £700 or something on the residuals.

I must say I would have been surprised if it was a facelifted one. I don't think there will be sensible lease pricing on those until the stock/cancelled order 300hp ones have gone.

Very true - But he can work out the cost of the excess mileage.
On my car it's 4.8p INC vat, not sure on the Astra.

Don't forget to check out the dealers direct for cheap lease deals, for a similar small car/cheap deal our local Citroen dealer was offering ex stock 4 door C1 Flair's (all the kit) on 18 month contract hire for a month down and just over £100 per month with 9k total miles. Ours is going back next week and it's been completely hassle free runaround motoring for loose change in car terms.
I'm looking for a C1 for my daughter on 18mth contract but haven't found anything close to this from dealers near me. Can you share your dealer's details?

Works out at £11741.77, minus the £440 VED increase gets us to £11301.77 which is only around £100 more than the November pricing which is good.
Did you include the £180 charge? I make it £11,921.77.

This is all assuming they aren't cancelled orders that are already built/in build? I doubt that will be the case though.
They're new build, I have a build slot confirmed for May, delivery in June.

Think it was around 7p (looked at it for my wife who does 8k p.a.), so for 25,000 p.a around £1500 extra each year compared to the 5000 limit

No neither sets of nos include the charges. Mine was 11200 pre options with 180 fee which I don't think the fees get less than that without them either being built in or through a dealer.

In this thread, as a rule of thumb, we include all charges. Otherwise the comparisons don't work smile

OK it works out at circa £140 dearer.... biggrin

Yeah some of the fees are worth considering, when some brokers are cheaper by £5 a month but £300 dearer on fees etc, but I knew the pre fee price of mine was the going rate as was the fee itself!

Hi Newbie Here,

I am new to car leasing but I am looking at the following:

Skoda Superb Estate Sportline Diesel 6G Man 150:

Personal Lease Deal
9 x £220.12 = £1981.08
23 x £220.12
Annual Mileage 10k Miles p/a

Which is 23.93% of RRP

When I put £1835 options on I got quoted:

9 x £259.03 = £2331.27
23 x £259.03

Which makes it 26.5% of RRP

Is it normal for any options not to be as good value as the basic car deal when leasing?

Most options are put at 100% value (auto being the obvious exception), so you pay for any option you put on the car. I personally think this is a bit of BS but others disagree and obviously the lease funders do as they make some money out of what you specced. When buying a second hand car the higher specced cars are more expensive even if the garage didn't pay any more for them. But that's the thing, they tell you residuals are worth nowt when you are selling a car and then say they are when the shoe is on the other foot.

So any options you put on effectively make the car worse value on lease (as with buying).

Let me put it like this: you're paying to rent someone else's car. If you pay to upgrade the car, you still don't own the car.

Cheers!

If you're crap at parking and you spec sensors/camera, you might save yourself a few quid in repairs.
