Just ordered via Shona at Vindis ( VW Bedford/ Cambridge) Thanks to TheKernow Kid/ duff and others for the info. All done Via 2 emails and confirmation call from them this morning, in all took about half an hour ! Just to confirm £215 pm £1500 initial 7.2p excess over 10k pa all inc vat basic car in white. Paperwork & build date in next 48 hours. Jesus, give the bloke a break.

How can you possibly be so aghast at someone asking a question about mpg on a car forum?
I bet the poor bloke thinks he's wandered into some surreal world where there is an infinite list of "must not do" that everyone other than him is party to and if you have the audacity to meander outside this extensive list then you get burned at the stake.

no, i think i meant http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/technology/car-net/app... which is a cable connection and allow's the mirror link of your phone screen on the Car sceen.. That is the option which you have to pay for unless i am wrong..

Yesterday I requested one of the Leon Cupra 290 Black's through Keith at CVL. He's been spot on so far, even replying to my emails on a Sunday. I called him earlier and asked about the progress and he said they had been swamped by requests for Cupra's and the Golf R's. He also said that I was in the queue for one and was expecting to hear back hopefully by COB today. I asked him whether they come with heated seats. He wasn't sure. I know some of you guys were saying that my16 Leon's don't have them standard but my17's do. Surely if they take 12 weeks to get to us then they are factory orders and should be my17 with heated seats standard?

They are probably onto the 5th volume now, asking the same old questions about what colours are standard, how much pm extra blue is and what mpg can be expected when going to Asda.Going through VWFS doesn't put the full 33k against your credit score does it?
Just test drove one. Its really smart inside, nice than my recent 'new astra' elite from Jet even, which is going some. Engine noise sounds amazing inside (is it fake?) and exhaust sounds like it wants to burble and pop but it doesn't quite manage it. Wasn't massively impressed with the speed though BUT I have come from a 400hp evo so that might be my hook up, the refinement doesn't help the sense of speed. Still going to really consider it tonight and perhaps order tomorrow. Has to be 3dr in Lapiz! Anyone planning on a tuning box/researched into one?
