Is this a ticking time bomb?

M6 V10 with 123k, new clutch and fly fitted but failed MOT on emissions apparently? At a guess it could be ECU, fuel injectors, Maf or something more serious...

I am sure the garage will have run a diagnostic through so does this mean it is one to be wary off as they are not bothering to fix themselves or a case of low price car (for what it is) with a small amount of work to be roadworthy... it would be nice if it were the latter but one has to be skeptical don't they??

In comparison with others it is around £1500 cheaper - maybe it should be even less if there are big bills looming - any thoughts from anyone - I have zero experience with these cars.

Agree with all responses and have since seen some much better cars which surprisingly are not much more expensive, with fewer miles, pampered condition. They don't complex however will be doing some significant research now before looking seriously...
