Just wondering the age of you lot !! Is the noble your first high performance car for a lot of you or have you been through other marques such as lotus or TVR?

Thanks.

When it arrives in July I'll be a thirtysomething.
Previously had a Porsche 993 4S plus loads of other stuff (see profile) but no pure sports cars - sorry Porsche fans!

Used to get speed thrills from numerous fast bikes until getting kids and nagging Mrs. Now need something 'safer'...

Well I am at the grand old age of 47. My previous car was a Jaguar XKR which normally appeals to my age group but I found it boring.

m12 Nathan; what is your insurance like on the TVR you currently own and what have you been quioted for the noble? I'm very interested in this topic as i am 24 and am looking to get either a TVR or Noble, depending on Insurance.

Thanks.

You don't want to know ;-)

I had a slight off last year and as such have a £24k claim against me and no no claims.

I have been quoted 4700 for the Noble fully comp with my missus on it as well.

Currently pay 2800 for the TVR

I'm 51 and will be 52 by the time my 3R arrives in July. I'm way past the need for Brylcream and am checking the Noble accessory brochure for tooth mugs.
Only pay £800 for insurance though.

I'm 28, have had a couple of Scoobs and a couple of Porker 993s.

Insurance for me is around 1100-1200 quid, but I park on the street.

No claims or points (since 1996), but something tells me that having a Noble may pick me up some pretty soon (points that is, hopefully not claims)

I'm 32 and I've had a couple of Lotus Elise' in varying states of tune.

I'm paying just over 1000 quid for insurance, with full no claims and a clean license (don't ask how).

Like Goodlife, I normally get my "speed kicks" from motorcycles but this is the first time I've owned a car which comes near to superbike performance. Bikes have included Ducati 916, Honda Firestorm, VFR750, VFR800, Yamaha Fazer 1000, and three different Yamaha YZF-R1 over the years. Also built a Honda CR500 and converted it to daytime road use in an attempt to find the next two-wheeled thrill. I currently ride a 2002 YZF-R1 but have only clocked up 2500 miles on that since last September, whereas I've now done over 5000 miles in the Noble since Januray.

But Noble haven't certified for US EVA and FMVSS. Are you importing it as a kit car? If so, who is doing this for you?

OK, if it's not a joke, tell us more, I'm intrigued!

Where you picking it up from, UK Garage in Milan, or from the factory? And how are you getting it back?

What colour is it?

Any optional extras?

How did you hear about the Noble?

Questions questions!

If you're picking it from the UK, fancy meeting up with other owners?
