Ive just worked out what the white stripes over the bonnet of a 360CS are,its one of two things, its either from a dogs bottom(as in when they drag themselves across the floor by their front legs to relieve worm/itchy arse syndrome)roflor from a big bike getting fed up waiting for the tart in the cabin to finsh putting on his lippy and holding everyone uplaugh Also i knew a joke about 355's and hedgehogs once but to be fair and unbiased you could apply it to any Ferrari if you like

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have been a life long fan of Ferrari and I just hope that the children on this thread aren't typical of the owners.

Funny that the people on PHeads with REAL money don't seem to shout about it.

I thought about a Ferrari, but unless it's a F40 or similair it's just not fast enough !!!!
I looked very seriously at F40's. I'd still like one, but I'll keep my Noble as I'm betting the F40 is quite a bit slower.

LOL! F40 or Noble.... hmm what a dilema

Not as bad a dilema as how to get that daft stripe off your car? Are you doing that for a bet?

fq me , you a part time comediene Norman ?

Nice car Tony H. If I was going to buy a Fezza it'd have to be a CS! Nearly bought one this year. May still yet do so...

You did???

I did. Then I concluded that I wouldn't get value out of 120K sat in the garage. I don't care that the CSL only comes out occasionally when it owes me so little!

Not to mention my flying habit!

I tend to find with my 4 kids that when they fail to listen and continue to misbehave (seek attention) the best thing to do is just ignore them...the same policy could be adopted on here. I certainly don't remember the noble forums being quite so spoiled by jealous people from other forums as they seem to be now.

can we get back on topic now?

I am a former noble owner...and of course I regret selling it...but life moves on and in my case family priorities took over. BTW...I found the noble worked as a pretty good commuter car to the station...it received a kind of respect and admiration from old and young, male and female alike while some other marques appear to bring out the worst in people...insighting jealousy and rage...that leaves one more fearful of parking it up for a day in a public space...might explain why the Noble now seems to attract detractions from the owners of said "jealousy" marques on these forums?

Ash, without going all the way back through this thread I can't tell if you are one of the clowns banging on about the size of his/her wallet. If you are not then my comment clearly wasn't aimed at you.

My point was simply that the members that seem to have genuine wealth don't seem to mention their bank balance in any of their posts. However, the ones that are 'nearly there' financially don't ever talk about anything else. Sadly they all seem to come from the Ferrari/Lambo forum.

Having said all that, it is the very same people that have made this thread essential reading. Well done chaps.

This thread seems to have lost its way? And I only came across it by accident as I don't visit the Noble forum often now.

I don't regret selling the Noble. I don't have a bottomless wallet and my Noble cost me a fortune in serious breakdowns and depreciation. I took a different course and for the same money bought a used 350Z for the road and a Lotus Exige for the track. I enjoy trackdays and the Noble was desperately unreliable when used frequently on track. In the real world the 350Z has enough performance for the road and compensates for the absence of torque in the Exige for road use. The Exige laps many circuits as fast as the Noble by making up time through the corners. From the Noble I miss the sheer power and the adoration of small children - but the total absence of faults in both cars in a year including 15 trackdays is in sharp contrast to the many weeks without a car last year.

2nd Race = 1:12:294

Oh and back on topic - Sold my 3R with absolutely no regrets. Got an M400 instead

lotus elise's or exiges couldn't keep with me in my Tvr T350 round knockhill and its a twisty muther of a track, so i could imagine its no contest for the noble/lotus battle.
