New car from Radical. Expensive, but a lot more practical than the existing offerings and likely a performance step from a standard 3R/400?

Thoughts (fugly...)

so is the capero not in the same sector... ie a racer for the road?

Not sure Id call it a supercar... and in my eyes it looks nothing like the noble?

Noble-like in concept as opposed to design. Can't think of many closed canopy cars with that level of performance at that price-bracket, with Air-con.

Looks, I agree, are functional, but less "right" than the SR3/SR8 I think.

Scope for tuning the basic engine if 3.7l V6 is pushing out 380bhp.

Caparo T1 is £100k more expensive...

Well it wont be street legal like that. They had big problems with the SR3-SL hence the stupid roll bar behind the driver.

A bit comedy car I admit but I think you would soon forget that when driving it, proper aero package too lick

£89K.... it'll need to be put together well for that.

its only a matter of time before a twin turbo version of this engine ends up in a Noble

the gearbox sounds interesting

"Both engine options drive the rear wheels through an all-new bespoke RPE/Quaife seven-speed transverse gearbox that is low in weight and ensures the overall weight balance remains very close to that of an SR3. Featuring paddleshift and an integral Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing differential, gear ratios are quickly and easily changed from the side of the gearbox like current F1 design practice. The in-house developed paddleshift system allows full-bore, 50ms seamless upshifts and automatically blips the throttle for clutchless downshifts without the need to heel-and-toe. "

If I have another engine failure that's what I'll be trying.
