Guys name is Levi.
As I want grey for an m400, the thickest coloured acrylic they do is 5mm. I've gone with that although it sounds pretty thin to me. I'm sure if you want black there are more options. Still no confirmed price yet.
I used 5 mm but had no major issues. But I would like to try 7mm this time. As I want grey for an m400, the thickest coloured acrylic they do is 5mm. I've gone with that although it sounds pretty thin to me. I'm sure if you want black there are more options. Still no confirmed price yet.

Yeah it was me that created the cad file.
I actually have a laser cutter at work so I could cut them here.
If there is enough interest I could get some done need to find out what it would cost me in material though.

I did the original cad file and you tidied it up. Lol
Out of ally might be a good idea.
Then get them powder coated or dipped.
No problem. the price for 5mm grey is £62 delivered which is more than I expected. If I knew for a fact the grey would be the correct shade and I didn't need to paint them that would tempt me. Otherwise, a group solution sounds good. Perhaps 5mm in black is cheaper and we'd get a discount for a group order...

The first time I bought a set of these it wasn't much over 30! Much prefer my carbon full splitter now though!Bondy.
Sorry! I didn't mean to steal your thunder. Apologies!
I meant to say I sent out the cad file and hold no responsibility of the accuracy of it ... as Bondy drew it originally! :-p
The cost will depend on the thickness of the acrylic.
I can't laser cut any metals.
What thickness do people want? 10mm?
I think I have used 10mm previously - I have mine in black and they look good.

You improved the design by smoothing out the edges so it will be your fault after all. Sorry! I didn't mean to steal your thunder. Apologies!

Yeah. I would try 10mm black or any dark colour as I will dip mine. Anything between 5-10 I would be happy with.
