Hello all,

As I mentioned before, although the factory are 100% behind coming to owners days in 2006, they are very busy next year and do not have time to organise them !

So, as part of the up and coming owners club, we've managed to sort a couple of days for next year. The first is at Brands Hatch Indy and the second will hopefully be at Donington. You don't need to be member to come along....just as well as the club isn't ready yet !

Brands is all sorted and is ready to book. It will be on Sunday Jan 29th
Donington is yet to be confirmed, but will most likely be in mid/late september.

Like the previous days, it's not all about driving. There'll be loads going on in the paddock. The factory will be along with spares and merchandise. Faulks Performance will be there with their Intercoolers, tanks and BoV's and noblemods.com will have their array of goods there too. Backed up by technical support from the factory, Mole Valley, Kerridges, Plans motorsport and Vegantune It promises to be a veritable Noble Superday!
Tyres are covered too, with a mobile fitting unit with a stock of S03's and Corsas.
For the trackheads, there's up to 6 hours track time available !

Details plus link to online booking on Brands' web site on this pdf:
www.nobleownersclub.com/2006_Owners_TrackDay/flyer.pdf

Let's get booking !

Sounds great "obes".

However, what is the weather usually like at the end of Jan ? (I've already demonstrated my lack of ability in the wet!)

Excellent work Owen and on a Sunday - someone listened!

One question, is MotorSport Vision running the trackday? I ask because insurers like the sound of factory backed events and/or those from respected organisers (and won't always offer cover for others)?

Yes, the event is effectively organised by Motorsport vision at Brands Hatch.

There will be some well respected photographers there snapping everyone as well making you look "god like" around paddock and druids.

As well as the normal on-line sales and CDROM copies, I hope to have set up an "instant" A3 full colour laser printing service available as well for people to take any pictures they like straight home.

You're quite right Rob, I'm trying to sort us a group rate with a trackday specialist insurer at the mo. Motorsport vision are indeed an 'approved supplier' of trackdays.

Want me to bring that intercom mate?

I live about 30 mins from Brands but cant recommend any hotels as I don't know that particular area of Kent very well.

Theres a hotel at the entrance gate to Brands but probably a bit pricey for whats needed. I'll ask a few peeps and see if I can come up with some suggestions.

Should that bother owners of expensive cars?

I will look in my "Lovely hotels" book and find one and call to arrange the possibility of £millions of cars beinmg there over night.

I hate staying in the crappy 'inn and 'lodge hotels for £60 odd when you can find lovely country places for less usually!!

Hi Guys, the hotel at the entrance of Brands is a thistle hotel. It has a bar, and resturant, good parking and a health spa with pool. I can get a deal with them through the company, so a twin roon will be £50 and a superoir double will be £60. The standard rack rate for a superior double is £155. This rate is a non cancel rate, so if you say yes it is a yes!! let me know.these rates are good for about the next 10 days, so need to know by then.
Alex.

Book me, Greg and Owen into the bar.

Graham

Bring the intercom. Apparently Alex wants you to do a few laps with him. After some hard thinking I have decided he can have you for 3 laps, warm up, quick lap and cool down. The rest of the time you will be my right hand man, albeit in the left hand seat.

Justin, printer sounds great, I think that will be well used, certainly by me

Paul Cundy

Given your experience of the track, please make yourself available for me to follow you, at least for 3 laps, once I am used to the track I will flash for you to let me past.
