Todays AUTOCAR Page 21, a small para alluding to the possibility of a Noble 'M15' with carbonfibre construction, and a lightweight V8 engine giving some 600 bhp ! ... with "sub-1000 kg kerbweight". Not confirmed but Autocar say " Well placed sources have told Autocar.... we hear that the company has already been working with a motorsport carbonfibre specialist."

Great spot. What do Noble owners prefer. V8 or the usual twin turbo?

Carbon fibre + lightweight V8 with 600 bhp must mean a higher cost?

Will this be as quick to market as the M12 GTO3T with carbon bodywork and sequential box?

Fingers crossed, honestly, if they can do it for the existing M15 price then they could be on to a winner.

Yes, but lots of folk have been suggesting that Noble should consider using a V8... and been shot down in flames for it. Not by you I hasten to add, but you don't have a monopoly on foresight

C/F bodywork was muted by someone in the know recently.
He saw a completed car but wouldn't say any more about it.

CF clams would cost about the same as our grp ones if produced in good numbers.

No reason why a car with this spec shouldn't actually cost less than the m15.

A CF bodied Noble with V* and 600hp and racing inspered (but nice) interior and truely awesome and aggressive (zonda) looks at £60 would clean up!!

Sounds great but I have an awful feeling this will be more than £100k if it ends up being CF with a V8

I too have had a quote from 2 different CF facilities and although they were general chit chat quotes from the company owners (one who used to own a stake in Noble!) both thought that if making a run of say 20 clams, they could make a front or rear for about 4 grand each, which as I say, is not much off the retail price of a grp clam.

Some people have actually seen this car. Some others that have seen it just may not know they have seen it.
