OK, so imagine your non-PH mates have never seen a Noble (like most of mine, as the 3R's not here yet).

I go for: it's a bit like a cross between a lotus elise from the front, and a Ferrari 355 from the back while being better looking and faster than both put together.

How would you describe it?

I tried one and the way i've described it is it's an elise that's been down the gym, taken steroids and popped a few pills, then went for looking for a race track, got lost and ended up on the public highway

when i tried a new elise I didnt think they were worth £20k. When I tried the noble m12 gto I knew it was worth double the elise's asking price.

I showed a picture of it to a girl at my office - her comment?? 'It looks like something my Fiance would put on his scalextric track - is it real?'. Nice.

Don't know about it looking like a 355 from the back - can't see it myself! To my mind, the 355 still ranks as one of the most beautiful cars ever to grace the road. The Mondeo lights on the rear really don't do it for me. What would help would be a clear rear light cluster, keeping the red as is, and having the amber part clear, along with clear side repeaters and clear lenses at the front. And whilst we are on to little styling details that niggle me, I really don't think those door handles belong on a £50k car, they could have done something a lot nicer, or at least painted them body colour.

But..... apart from those one or two minor things, I am still more excited about taking delivery of mine more than any other car I have previously owned

I'm doing some research on the rear light front - I'll post up if I find any (was looking for exactly what you describe). Side repeaters are easy to find - can't work out where the front indicators came from though...

As for describing a Noble - Vrrrooooommmmmmmmmmm, Tish, Vrrrooooommmmmmmmmmm

Would be most excellent if you do manage to find an alternative to the existing rear light cluster.

Oh, and how do I usually describe it? Elise on steroids..

Look the same as my Elise MK1 to me - I can't remember what they are off though (although the look spookily like the ones on my old MKIII Spitfire...)
