Nothing a decent go won't fix
Already done it on mine!
so comparing your geo tweaked Emira to an Evora, is as good a drive?

Haven’t back to backed it but it feels as good as I remember my Evora feeling, might need another slight change to the toe to get it all the way there

If it isn’t then there’s a few simple things under the skin I know to try too.

Are options classed as bespoke?

Fair enough if they made a duck egg blue interior with a metallic biege and brown 2 tone paint job, but I don't think they're doing that?
Interesting point. It's made to order I would have thought that makes it bespoke ie it's not stock it's produced to an individual spec.

If you ordered a kids football team kit with the names printed on for example that is none returnable.
But if you order a coat that comes in blue, purple, brown and green and you order the green version - you can return it. When does a choice become customisation? The options on Emira are very limited

But in this case isn't it built specifically for you?

Yes, but within the standard range. This limits the variations.

Porsche will paint to sample, I don't see that being offered by lotus.

This is from themotorombudsman.org regarding distance selling of cars:

https://www.themotorombudsman.org/distance-sales-f...

Caveat is that you must not have visited the manufacturer's/dealer's premises in order to complete order forms or pay a deposit, etc.

That's interesting thanks for posting. Every day is indeed a school day!

So this is an absolutely massive hole in the agency method then? Sounds like Lotus need to go back to the traditional way of doing things although the non payment of the dealers could cover the cost of the cancellations maybe.

It's an absolute nonsense to me but lot of consumer regulation is!

You can't have dealers if you don't pay them. Lotus have lost the plot.

its getting worse and worse, the bigger the stranger it can get (some compagnies or services.)
