Heater failure Taycan

As far as I am aware ALL Taycans manufactured before Feb 2023 are to be called in for an upgraded heater. If yours has been replaced before this date - as many have - you will not have the latest spec one and will be called in again, if you haven't been already.
When was the upgraded heater available? Ours was replaced in December so want to figure out if it will have to go back again. It’s already going in for its second gearbox replacement, the gearbox has been problematic through its life - typically going to ‘adaptive driving permitted’ sporadically then oermanantly, original leading to software upgrade, then gearbox replacement, last year, and it’s gone again…
Great car, but yes I will be extending the warranty, though at this point nearly 2 years in I’m wondering if the gearbox has a design issue as having failed again after being replaced it seems more a design issue vs a fault in a an individual part…
Got my car back after 3 weeks off the road, they’ve done a few updates at the same time. I’ve noticed that the heater initially kicks out warm air but cools after a few miles, maybe it’s just keeping the interior at temperature but I didn’t notice it prior to the problem, maybe it’s just me but has anyone else noticed it?

Perhaps your climate control is set to ”ECO” mode?Gassing Station | Porsche EVs | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
