If you need 7 seats on a budget like this wouldn't you rather just save the 15k and kill yourself to end the misery?
Either I'm due a parrot or you are a pratt! I quite fancy one of these and I am not remotely miserable, far from it. I'll probably wait until the hybrid, although a top spec launch model looks great, I don't need the third row of seats but with those folded away nothing comes close to boot space for the money. Most modern overly complicated cars, full of electrical gadgets and masses of sensors and automation do nothing for me. Cars like this are refreshing and proving to be very popular, the Sandero which this is based is one of the top selling cars in Europe, UK included. The motoring press are giving it excellent reviews

Bit harsh! These look a good bit of kit if you have 5 kids or you are a childminder.
Why would anyone have 5 kids?
Because the mother in law didn’t warn you there were multiples in the family.

I have seven seats in the E500 and I cannot wait to replace the terrible piece of st with the Jogger.

Admittedly the second row of rear seats is used exclusively for the transportation of our canine friends, and KFC, but space is needed.

I regard the Dacia outlook as a refreshing change to the tech-snooze-fests that a lot of modern cars have become.

I have 3 kids, but the extra 2 seats give option of taking a couple of their friend's for play dates, or bringing family on holiday with us, and the removable 3rd row and foldable 2nd makes the boot huge for IKEA and tip runs etc. The modular roof bars look pretty useful too, could take 5 or 6 of us on holiday with plenty of room. The ability to tow 1250kg is perfect too, towing a caravan kills an EV range, so having the jogger as a family work horse and then something like a model Y for day to day commuting and family trips out.

Some of the recent road tests, very positive, I actually think its a great looking car despite the price. Makes me think of a modern stretched Skoda Yeti

It's more like a stretched Skoda Roomster.

I'm also interested in one of these for dog/MTB transport. It looks a lot better than previous Dacias. I have mentioned on another thread it's odd Dacia don't offer the 1.3 150BHP auto, it would be ideal for this car. When the hybrid turns up it's going to be significantly more expensive and according to reviews of the Clio not much difference in fuel economy (only 1.2 kWh battery)

Not odd at all, the Hybrid is the more modern power unit, with lower emissions and lower MPG, Captur Hybrid (same set up as Clio and what will be in the Jogger) quoted MPG is 57.7MPG vs the 1.3 140 auto at 47.9, I should imagine when the "All-New Duster" is out in a couple of years time the 1.3 150 auto won't figure.

If two E bikes fit in the back of one of these, it would definitely be considered as a replacement for our Panda.

Those figures are in controlled conditions. If all or most of your driving is urban then I would expect the hybrid to perform well. But on 60/70mph roads the battery isn't going to get much regen so you are going to be using the 1.6NA engine nearly all the time. The difference in MPG is likely to be minimal.

Anyone been contacted by a dealer yet about ordering after having paid the £99 deposit? Was wondering if I should give mine a call next week, would like to get one delivered before July.

I reckon the Jogger would make a great commercial vehicle. Practical but also because its a car it would be quiet and civilised.

I called my dealer yesterday, as hadn’t heard anything (since he called me when I first paid the deposit)
A showroom car had just arrived & I could go take a look. But, as demonstrators are arriving this week, he will call me to take one out when they arrive.
So looks like things are happening this week, as others say.
