Hi kottu369 thanks

And with regards to your question I’m sure when I dealt with the certificate from lotus the gentleman i dealt with informed me it was one of the 50. As you’ve raised this question in going to contact lotus and try find out but as you’ve mentioned the number seems legit with the website!

Thanks Luke

Hi Phil
The suspension has had some work done on it it’s been cleaned and painted as in the wishbones any bushes replaced and rubber boots on the ball joints that were deteriorated also replaced. The two rear shocks were replaced at the same time as they had a slight weep of oil around the piston! But as I say that was some time ago. There’s no corrosion under the mats I’m not 100% what you mean by that as it’s aluminium I’ll try upload some photos now!
Thanks Luke

Yea the car is accident free! Of course I can only talk from when I’ve owned the vehicle but never had anyone say any different when it’s been serviced or had the wheel alignment done after new tyres so I’d be confident it’s accident free yes

I’m with you now you mean oxidation of the aluminium! The cars always kept garaged under a cover and never went out in the rain so I can only say there’s less of a chance of it having it but glad I could help! Any thing else you would like to know I’d be glad to help I couldn’t get any other photos up earlier so here’s one of the drivers side footwell

Thanks Luke

Hi Phil here’s the photo under the Matt that I’ve just pulled out as it was stuck down and as you can see there’s a small amount of oxidisation but nothing too serious for the age of the car to be fair as it is nearly 25 years old

Thanks Luke
