Im surprised is about all I think I can or want to say.
I dont know the full ins and outs, but Pilgrim wasnt a bad company or product was it ? to my knowledge anyway.
It's nothing to do with Pilgrim and if it was/is a good or bad company.I dont know the full ins and outs, but Pilgrim wasnt a bad company or product was it ? to my knowledge anyway.
It's to do with the owner breaking the law.

The point I was trying to make is that Im surprised the person involved had to resort to this - he seems an educated and not stupid type ?

Thanks.I've spoken to a Mr P Filby tonight, as you can properly guess he's followed with some interest!
I think the post may have been removed because of speculation.
the court case would be sub judice until sentence and speculative internet threads could prejudice a fair trial or put the forum in contempt
Let's not forget jurors being jailed for contempt due to posting on twitter and Facebook

While I have no real time for Den, my thoughts must go to his family and how it will affect them.It says a lot for the strength of his wife to post what she has on the Sumo forum, a simple statement of facts no blame and no excuses.
+1 I pm'd him day before sentencing and wished him well amongst other things. Whatever you think of him, Pilgrim allowed many people to fulfil a cobra shaped dream they not have been able to otherwise. His reply ended in pragmatic Den style, "Hopefully you'll be reading more of my posts tomorrow. On the other hand I might be muted for a while. Thanks for your best wishes. Den"PS I wouldn't read past post 69 on CRC - some total bks being spouted by Daily Mail readers and an alcoholic.

I didn't know Den personelly although I did buy a Sumo kit and all the trimings about 10 years ago from Pilgrim, but at that time Tony Holmes was the main man and Den was out of the picture.
No matter what you think of cannabis and the rights and wrongs of it Den's broken the law, got caught and is now paying the price. From the things that he has said in the past I'm sure that's the way he looks at it.
We all have a moral cut-off piont, a line we don't cross, what Den did far exceeds mine but then maybe my line is too far for others.
