No interest so far at all.
Thinking that something like £15k is about right, can that really be true?

Need the cash for things like rent and that 'food' stuff.
Will be getting something like an IQ - don't want anything with pretentions of performance as I would just be thinking that it was not as good as the Murt!

It is a lot of pennies but I'd love to try to avoid selling if I could, just had a year of no job so that has kind of crippled the bank account even though I am employed again now that is a lot of money to pay back. Have to say though, I would sell everything else I own instead if I knew it would save my Murt!
Have found a credit card I forgot about - will be looking at the bank accounts tomorrow to see if I can save my little car!

Car at Rowleys for some stuff:
New SMALLER FMIC to get more air to the rad
Fix the heater
New dump valve to deal with the new turbo put on last year
Ignition coils and plugs
Remap.

If that all works out it will be so nice!

Going to get a sticker that says:
Anyone got any cash - my car seems to have eaten mine!

It's nice to be making changes here and there, I just wish I could spread them out over a longer period of time!

V exciting!!!
Mines at RPE too, really looking forward to getting it back.

Plotting a return to Borough 19 mototr club and intend to do a full year of sprints in 2011, really want to see what the Murt can do up against Caterfields in the wet!

Anyone else intending to compete in theirs?

Never weighed mine! Where are you guys going for that???
My doors dropped a couple of times but they have been quite stable since (fingers crossed!)
The seal around the windows is my next move once it comes back from Rowleys.
I have plans in my head of things to do next to it:

Windows seal sorted as mentioned
Get a slightly longer window wiper arm - perhaps an inch longer to increase the wipe area
Upgrade brakes and disks - one of the disks has a very slight lump in that you only notive when driving it lots
Fit a stereo which just plays from a usb stick so there is no real stereo unit on the dask just a plug somewhere that takes a usb signal and amps it a bit (I know nothing of this so it may not exist!)
Get/make a removable hard top that I can take with me (epic project!)

All of the above will be nice for when I plan on a Grand Tour of Europe! Choices are:
Drive to Turkey to see a chum
West coast of France down to Portugal then Morocco along the top of Africa into Italy over to Croatia and back.
Or Down to S coast of France then down west coast of Italy and back via Switzerland and the now famous passes!
I have heard that Poland is nice too.

I have spent so many hours trying to figure out the best way to do it! That is kind of where I keep coming back to though.
Or, split it across the roof to create a large flat -ish area and a more awkward curvy bit which would need a little more thought.
hmmmmmmm!

Frankthered - google is my friend!! I see what you mean.

TVR roof

Now if that was all solid, the front section might come off and fit behind the seats, then the other part would have to be in perhaps 3 sections and that would go in the boot. That needs a bit of chin stroking and pondering but I do like the idea!

I wonder what the collective term is for a group of Murtayas? I am torn between three possibilities:

An awesomeness of Murtayas or
A delay of Murtayas or
A thrash of Murtayas

Bloody hell you are having some mighty rough luck with that!
My roof has shown no signs of shifting at all and it has been on nearly all the time. Bonnets catches are fine too. Getting in and out is no prob but I am used to VX220's!

Specifically said not to have ABS - had a few scares with ABS in various cars and in vx220 it made me 8 seconds slower over a 1:10 sprint course until I took the fuse out!

Oh no, just, no.

I always quite liked TVR interiors as it happens, might look at something similar in mine, now how hard can it be? smile
