The Aeon oppositely has small doors with an ugly shut line which cuts the side panel in half, so the waistline is higher, making it look chubbier and more cumbersome.
CHUBBY ?? !!
It looks MUCH better in the flesh ..... but then I am biased

Perhaps the Ginetta G26/G27 idea of using a complete mass produced car door would work.
...
Check out the NEW Ginetta at the autosport show...Very nice and completely unlike a G20, G27 etc etc.
and there was me thinking it was a coupe version of the g20..........
There is a G20 Coupe, but I'm talking about the NEW car I saw about a year ago having just arrived at the factory from abroad. I asked Martin a couple of days ago what had happened to it and he said it was going to be at the autosports show (unless he got the wrong end of the stick and believed I was talking about the G20 coupe).
Nope, this new thing is different, more like a smaller Lambo Gallardo type thing.

the mid engined car?
or the g40?
i saw them both last time i was up at the factory although i believed the mid engine car was pretty much still born due to costs.... a year ago it was just still a buck...
i'd be very suprised if they have got it ready yet. (although i hope i am very very wrong...!

Personally I would like to see something that is to the fury/pheonix/stylus as the Toniq-R is to the 7. Basically, a full bodied, front engined, rear wheel drive roadster with a modern look.
As the owner/racer of a Fury I know what you mean.
Love the look of the Toniq-R, very original.
I also love the Fury, one of the prettiest cars ever made.
I am constructing a 7 type road legal race car, target mass is 750kgs. To begin with I will use 7 type bodywork, but in time I'd love to fit a Fury type body, and have already discussed the idea with Mark Fisher at Fisher Sportcars.
My car will run a 500+bhp Chevrolet LS1, 8 speed sequential gearbox (yes, eight), wings, TVR Cerbera AP front brakes and MG SVR Diff wishbones and uprights.
I'm gonna run it in the Centurian Challenge up against Radical V8s, Radical SR3s, Caterham CSRs etc.
Should make 650bhp/ton which will be enough to keep the Radical V8 honest.
I'll plan to sell copies of the car once it's fully developed.
See the full post in the TVR section with more spec on the subject of "Power to Weight"

That was my interpretation too
Also, it doesn't just look good in photoshop, the mock-up they made to make the body molds looks pretty smooth too I think:
Quote from the site:
We are shooting for an approximate price range of $30-$40k, but this will greatly depend on the buyers needs or their “wish list” of parts and modifications they might want to have installed on their car, and also if we sell “stripped” versions of the kit (i.e. body and chassis alone). Pricing will be announced on the site soon!
(end quote)
So they are considering a 'stripped' kit version... Maybe we should drop them a line to make sure they will
