Here is the idea;- every week add your own kit car picture of the week to this thread. It can be anything k/c related and others can comment on your pics. To get the ball rolling one of our customers has submitted these from a trip last weekend to Spa in Belgium - one on track and one showing the unashamed inspiration for his paint job - randomly bumping into the Porsche at Spa! Hope you all like the idea of the thread and that we can get something going between us. Neil.

The idea of the thread is to post pics of kit cars. If you are going to start a thread like this then it is logical to start with a pic of a kit car, what picture should have been used if not that one???

Magpies, what is the kit you have used???? I have had a couple of GT4's, an ST205 and a Carlos Sainz. Sounds an interesting kit if you manage to keep the 4WD. Whats the spec?

The idea was simple - make a thread for people to post their favouite cars in stunning pictures. Prompted by one of our customers sending me a picture he was very proud of - his car that he spent a year building at one of the worlds most famous racing corners. If you don't want to post pictures of kit cars in stunning/exciting locations then don't - but for once on P'heads can we try and be positive for 5 minutes and allow those who are proud of what they have achieved to enjoy it? Stratos and RS200 look great - hope the 'ended in tears' for the Stratos was not too painful! Neil.

Loving the rail and the 037.
Helped build a sandrail back around 1988/90 (God I feel old) which was done as a 'tarmac' car - very low and with wheel arches that really hugged the tyres. 1641 engine with extractor exhausts and no silencing at all!
037 - amazing memories of these - Marku Alen - Mr Maximum Attack - ringing the neck on the Monte Carlo in (I think) 1984 in deep snow to start and then wet/icy tarmac later in the event. Classic TV coverage back when rallying was on mainstream telly using music from Jean Michelle Jarre! Then the mecrurial Henri Toivenen on the 1000 Lakes same year trying to catch the 205T16's and Quattro's - fantastic car, wonderful noise, amazing drivers.
NY.
