They do indeed look good, they also have the benefit of looking like a "TVR" type of wheel, indeed they look a like Racelines or Compomotives, what are they?
They are Compomotives ordered to a special offset. I did not originally order them but bought them from the Pistonheads classifieds section from my250gt. He may even have another set. If so, your shipping should be cheaper as I am in Canada.

..was that deleted on this chassis by tvr ?
The spare tire mount was there originally. With a very heavy double electric fan set-up hung from it. Cooling was the main issue, but that will be overshadowed if one is on the motorway and gets a flat.
I was thinking of carrying a can of foam or a spare from a Volvo v40 that I believe fits the M.

And .... we're back.

Nick,
I recently found an earlier engine mount picture before the frame was powder coated. I will look for some later ones that may be more clear.

Hi Bernard,

I appreciate the interest. I made the mistake of building a new house. That took the wind out of things.
I will stop by the shop to take some progress pics and get them posted. I would really like to have it up and driving this summer. So soon.

Hi Todd,

I always liked the look of wheels with black centres and a polished outer lip. Did you fit air conditioning? I can feel the heat coming off it from here.

I bought myself a period Smith's clock to fit. It even works. After having my appendix out on the weekend I believe the car will be that much quicker without dragging it around trapped inside me. Possibly too much info.

The aim is the third week of October. It is going to the car show if I have to take it there on a trailer.
Of course driving it would be exceptional. It makes a proper amount of noise.
I have not done much with the interior. It is in reasonable shape. That will come next year.

Some excellent progress. Drove it to the parking lot under its own power.

Will get it out for a bit of a shake down to see what might need a looking into.
Bronte British car show is this Sunday. Largest British car show in North America. 1000 plus cars.

Wow. Went out on the road for the first time since I purchased it in 2005. Damn it is loud. To be fair the transmission tunnel shifter opening is wide open, I can see the ground going by underneath. And there is no carpeting in the back or a panel over the fuel tank. But damn, needs a little sound deadening to make a decent length of drive tolerable.
Three hours later, still grinning.

I will be driving it to the show on Sunday.
Pictures to follow.

Happy times.

Well,

Got it to the show. Had to trailer it. The gauges were not reading properly. Did drive it onto the show field.

Hello Bert,

The folks working on my TVR fabricated the mounting bits.

One day I might get it back. I think it has spent more time at fab. shops than in my possession.
