biggrin indeed strange those rear fenders, although with wider wheels/tires to fill that wide gap up, it could be better and seeing the interior of that car I guess he got also a set of wheels that match better?

and what is that side thing under the door, the exhaust cover?

I think the car has been restored in the manner it has to preserve some of its History. The car was raced in the late 60's early 70's in that format.. its funny how people like the idea of continuous history unless it looks Ugly. smile hats off to the guy for keeping the car in an as raced format.

What gearbox and engine does the car have? The gear lever looks further back than usual.

Here's a TVR Jomar?? (I wait to be corrected.. smile )I took these pictures at the NEC Classic Car show auction back in 1995. If I recall if failed to sell. For those with a keen eye (and a long association with the TVRCC) may recognise the 2 characters in the first picture.

Does this one belong to anybody we know? I kept this pic when the car was being advertised for sale in 2010.

Seeing as this thread is about photos of old TVRSs I thought you might like a 'bum in the air' shot - so to speak!

I think that looks perfect, with its non-painted wheels.

MK1cortina lamps are round...MK2 are the square units.
I agree the silver one is smart looking, but I like painted wheels.
