Interesting Geoff.Geoff G.
Have you got a side profile shot....Are these the new 1 piece minilights from Del at Minilite?? Was thinking about those sort of sizes for dads vixen..

Thinking along the same lines GTR.
On the tyres point. Is it just me or peeps just like wacking in the biggest set of rims they can and covering with huge arches.
I personally like to feel the car working against what grip it has rather that just have huge grip all the time. I prefer more grunt that tyre, but maybe that is just me!
My old 3000M (lightly flowed heads - maybe 160+bhp (when 23)) was plenty of fun with 185/somethings!
My racer is on 225/60x15's (Yoko 032's), mind has to be like this to race.
You be interesting to pop in a set of same height say 16's with lower profile and say 245 rears.
Chim was fun with 405bhp and SP9000's on (nice middle of the road road tyre - nothing particularly track orientated - not a trackdayer), god you could get that thing so far sideways and keep it there Not Fast - but fun.

Yes they are genuine one piece Minilites, I went to Telford to have a look at production and order my wheels.Have you got a side profile shot....Are these the new 1 piece minilights from Del at Minilite?? Was thinking about those sort of sizes for dads vixen..
This is the best side view I have at the moment.

Spot on. and no doubt knowing Russ and Del will be good value when compared to 3 piece wheels. Have e-mailed them for available back sets...I think moving to 16" opens up much more tyre availability without looking too rubber band in the arches, particularly if you have widend the arch.....as for wide rubber. Dad is 73 this year so some very safe wide rubber will do him just fine with getting on for 200hp. This is the best side view I have at the moment.

Only six years behind your Dad!! I originally started with 15"x7" Minilites but after 3 months decided to go to 16", the 15" were unopened and Minilite were happy to swop them for the 16's, and yes I did get a very good deal. I will be fitting the same combination to the Vixen, although with diferent offset, 16x9 rear and 16x7 front.N

The highlight of my visits to the Ace Cafe was watching you and Top Sparks' departures - mostly sideways with the odd tank slapper thrown in to get the heart rate going.Chim was fun with 405bhp and SP9000's on (nice middle of the road road tyre - nothing particularly track orientated - not a trackdayer), god you could get that thing so far sideways and keep it there Not Fast - but fun.

Here's a car I'm working on now, TVR with a slightly modified small block ford.
Puts out 825hp.... Car weights in at 2200lbs...... Probally could take an Enzo..
