I saw it 2 or 3 years ago and it looked very nice then but it depends on how it's been looked after since then. Ask David Geralds if they can send you some more, and bigger, pictures so you can see if it's worth going to look at it. Only you can be the judge of if you think it's worth the money but the price doesn't seem too bad to me if it's in very nice condition.

how far is a long drive, your profile gives no location. Surely if you are interested in the car you will not make your decision based on the opinion of others

That car used to belong to a guy in Kent/SE London because it was on the TVRCC stand in Bromley in 2004 and 2005.

It also appeared on eBAY at one point with a start price of something a bit optimistic like 20K.
The owner at the time seemed to me to be someone who liked the car but wasn't hands on and had all the work on it done professionally. It looked in good shape.
You may find the TVRCC SE London/NW KENT region of help; they have a yahoo group which you maybe able to join http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/S

The same car attended the Pre80s meet at Crich in August - looked in very good condition and was also up for sale at the meet.

A possible indicator could be the chassis no., LVX1283/6 to LVX2134/6.
DVLA simply list it as a TVR coupe, date of manufacture unknown.

I have no knowedge about this particular car but wonder why anyone would want to "create" a Tuscan V6. If someone was to go to all that effort surely they'd go the V8 route and make four+ times the money. - See other threads for comments on doing this!

but then you would need the identity of a V8 (40 built?) to get hold of the identity of a V6 is a little easier since there are built 2,5 times more. just a thought: somebody wrecks his tusc, takes the identity and engine/driveline and puts it on a vixen S3....
