RHD to LHD conversation on a 3000S / M
Discussion
I have owned both left-hand drive and right-hand drive TVRs, and have driven them both on the "wrong" side of the road when travelling around Europe. What you are suggesting with converting a 3000S sounds to me like a bit of a nightmare, surely it is legal to have a right-hand drive car in Austria ? If so save yourself a lot of money and if you already have (or plan to buy) a right-hand drive car keep it that way, if you use the car only occasionally / as a weekend drive, you won't really find it a problem overtaking etc.
Hi, thanks for your reply. I think you are right. It would be much work for occasionally use. and the car is then not original any more.
I thought about this matter because I have driven LHD and RHD cars, but only in their countries, I never was on the wrong side and dont feel familiar with this - but I think its better , yes
thanks again

hi, driving a wedge i cannot say much about the 3000, but....
i´m living in germany and i would never think about converting my british RHD to an LHD.
the main reason is that i bought a BRITISH car and not an Alfa-Romeo!!!
other reasons are: occasional use, RHD much better for trackdays, and there is no relation between the conversion (time, money) and the result you get.
