Isn't the sigma related to the Zetec and the later ones Duratecs with yamaha ?? and in 1700 form stretched to max capacity. Induction exhaust positions reversed like the Duratec i keep saying that there are a lot of lovely little engines about these days.
Zetec still easier to fit. actually a bolt in swap.
Edited to add..am I missing something here? The pics of Pumas show the exhaust manifold on the opposite side to the one in your picture?? I am assuming earlier ones are sigma and later ones Duratec .

The word Nikasil in liners scares me. but I suppose lots have been built without any dramas.
I think the Blacktop is as near to a BDA as you can get without it actually being one and its lovely to work on.
I am reckoning on about 170hp in the trim it is in..more than enough

Best install I did, just bolted them on, hooked up the five wires, turned the key and off it went. I had the old megajolt set up with the torque biased map and it pulled like a train. I had previously had the oem ecu with both ginetta and griffin plenums and also an emerald with bike tbs and the bike carbs was the easiest and best set up.

Well, body came off chassis again, removed all wiring, electrics and dash board. My son Christopher then set about cleaning off all underneath paint and sone chip,repaired the many holes that have been drilled in over the years then re painted it.
Prepped and sprayed the engine bay, body now refitted to chassis, set and fixed.

All now ready to be glassed into place them final fitted with correct length stainless fixings.
New stainless steel tank ready to go in when glassing is finished.
