In preparation for the Vixen restoration I decided to invest in an ultrasonic cleaner. It was £229 delivered from ebay it is 20 litres so you can fit in quite a few parts. All these parts had been sitting round the garage for the last 15 years.
I think the results speak for themselves all I did was put them in with a solution for parts cleaning and wiped them dry when finished

The process

The results

The carb still needs a few more goes through the cleaner but overall very happy with the results.

The good part about these is there are no harsh chemicals. The item number is 261297414331 if you stick that in the eBay search you then have options for size etc mine is the 20l analogue with standard basket.
It really does do a good job but won't bring things up to a shine if they are heavily oxidised. But for general cleaning that are great.
