TVR 3000S TURBO
Discussion
I have just noticed that a good friend of mine has advertised his 3000S Turbo for sale on the TVR Car Club website. I have no commercial interest in the car but thought it worth a mention on here for information purposes and discussion.
The car, which I know very well is the first Turbo convertible of only 13 and is in stunning condition having had a body off restoration several years ago by a well known restorer at a cost approaching £30,000. It then went to live in Germany and had a gentle life till returning several years ago to its present TVR fanatic owner (a member ot the Association of Real "S" Enthusiasts). It has subsequently had further vast sums spent including a new windscreen and surround, new mohair roof, big AP brakes and vented discs, new 16" split rim wheels with new tyres etc, and all the original equipment retained and included in the sale. The car was featured in the TVR 50th anniversary article in Classic Cars magazine in december 1997.This represents in my opinion a real opportunity for someone to acquire a stunning piece of TVR history and would be on its way into my garage if I didn't already have one. sTeVeR ps the "good friend" is an exageration but the rest is true
