Anybody read PH in US anymore

I'm tired of looking at Sept. 18th every time I check this site. Am I the only one? Don't people in America like to talk about their TVR's. What does SEAC mean?

Yes, there are frequent contributions from US members on Pistonheads. It takes a while to become familiar with their PH Names to know that, but we do like to talk about our TVRs and TVRs in general.

SEAC stands for Special Equipment Aramid Composite(If memory serves correctly) which indicated the nature of the construction of the body of the car. I'm sure if I have mis-stated this, some of my fellow PH-ers will be happy to set me straight.

As for US TVR owners liking to talk about their cars,
why don't you join us in New Jersey next weekend(Oct. 10-12) for the TVR Car Club North America's annual gathering. You will find out just how enthusiastic US TVR members can be and you'll get to see the largest assemblage of TVRs in the US at one time.

I think the problem is that many of us had high hopes for a new TVR in the USA.

We have been beating a dead horse, so many of us have given up.

No bitterness, just disappointment. I visit PH frequently to read the Tamora, Tuscan, T350, T440 comments and see if the status of things have changed.

Sell many cars, TVR we are pulling for you. Hope Lotus rocks with the Elise and inpires you to come back!

If you haven't done so already, join the TVR Car Club North America and you can keep abreast of any TVRs for sale through the club. Perhaps you can find what you're looking for before long.

This forum tends to be for people discussing the likelyhood of new TVR cars being sold here.

We have a '72 2500 in Massachusetts.

Yes ! There are many TVR's in Michigan. There was a dealer for TVR in the Detroit area for most of the time that they were imported. I have a 3000s and it is my third TVR. There are at least a dozen or more in the detroit area, some owners with more than one at a time. Our local chapter of the TVR car club of North America is very active and we are heading to Woodwork this Thursday. See You There.

I married a Michigan girl and we came to live in England so i could carry on driving TVR's (TuscanS), i'm back for thanks giving so if anything is going on let me know.

The Floriduh, comment must have been mine. Got it from a friend, whose parents voted in the Dubya election. They live in WPB.

I have a TVR. According to the list of new members in TVRCCNA, there is supposed to be another TVR owner near me. But havent found them.
